It's ok
This is lovely tasting but i was expecting a miracle worker after reading the reviews. It possibly worked but did have a cough for several days after but i guess this did no harm with lovely natural ingredients it did soothe a little bit!

This syrup is very efficient. It helps soothe tickly throat, nervous cough I call it that doesn't let one sleep. Just take some syrup and it will help soothe and help sleep. You must try it for yourself. If after brushing you teeth this cough stops you from sleeping peacefully, take some but you can't brush your teeth after taking it sadly, or you will remove all syrup to help you sleep.Make sure the expiry date on the bottle is long, for exapmle if you buy now, the expiry date is 2015. There are some other suppliers that may sell it cheaper by a few pennies but the expiry date is within 3 months and the syrup has no great effect.Buy this Syrup from Amazon, free delivery and great service

I would recommend it to anyone who works in the entertainment business
As a sixty four year singer, and public speaker, I need all the help I can get!!! Seriously, I have been using Alpenkraft for a long time now, and it has always worked. It is specifically made with singers and public speakers in mind. I would recommend it to anyone who works in the entertainment business, or in smokey, dusty places. First class.

Broken seal!
The item arrived with the seal broken, with syrup running (sticky) all the way out to the package it was wrapped in.

Not an absolute cure
I had a very bad cough, one that lasted from end February - beginning May this year. I took this until the bottle was finished. I cannot really say whether I would have been worse without it or if the cough would have lasted longer, but it tastes ok and the other over the counter cough syrups didnt do anything. So I guess I would say I hope it helped me.
