Rest Assured Norham Natural Latex 2000 Ottoman Divan Bed and Mattress - King, Sandstone

I was a bit concerned buying a bed off the internet but in this case the bed and the delivery service were spot on! The bed has a 'standard' two piece base which are well made and easy to get upstairs and put together. I liked the fact that there are two headboard bolts either side if the head end piece to support and secure the headboard. It became obvious why when you see how deep the mattress is! The mattress is very deep and very heavy, so be warned when you try and take it upstairs!Now that we've had the bed a couple of weeks and got used to it, the bed is far more comfortable and cooler than our previous memory foam one. The mattress is firm and supportive and the latex top allows you to gently sink in to the top layer to support you and give you a good night's sleep.I would highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for a replacement for their current one. It is well worth the money.

We've had this mattress 2 years and despite it being under a 5 year warranty, plus us rotating it several times since we bought it, the filling on the topper has settled to a point that the center has 'bowled' and now we are experiencing lower back strain and discomfort. It's a shame as it was very comfortable at the beginning.We bought this to replace an old mattress that was actually similar (with a topper like this one's), and it wasn't sagging as much despite approaching 8-9 years old. It seems one way or another we are going to have to replace this mattress to sleep comfortably at night.In contacting Silent Night to address the issue, their warranty team refused to accept what happened is a product defect under their terms of their warranty because no springs or stitches were broken. They said the sagging was a 'natural' recession... I get that the topper can thin a bit, but it wasn't uniform; it happened from the center causing it to bowl, making their excuse absolutely ridiculous and simply unacceptable. No mattress should do that - especially one less than 3 years old!Let's just say we'll be avoiding any of the Silent Night brands going forward.

For the money its not great, mattess is a bit too soft, would have preferred it to be firmer, the base seems cheap and cardboardy with the wooden slat creases showing up in the cloth.

So far this bed and divan have been a bargain. I also have the mattress in a double so I was fairly confident buying it.So I had the Super King and the Divan base with four draws.The mattress is massive, which I am really pleased with. I love the latex pillow top which makes this bed and it says its a medium which I agree with. My wife and I are both tall and the extra space, although on paper isnt much, is significantly bigger than the king size it replaced.Bedding wise, I find the Dorma extra deep fitted sheets are great. Worth the money as this mattress is deep.The divan is nice. Ours is the non sprung one. The castors needed some brute force to go in. What I dont like is that there are two plastic clips to hold both pieces of the divan together. I much prefer the little brass locking nut and arm my previous one had and I am tempted to retro fit it. That said it is so far holding.Overall for six hundred notes I consider this a bargain. Even if I onlyy get 4-5 years out of it I'll be happy.

Despite Amazons claims of delivery in a few days, it took a while to arrive (a couple of weeks) which was frustrating as hell - so watch for that! Otherwise - absolutely fantastic bed. We love it! You really should try out a superking in a bed store to get an idea of the size, and obviously measure up the room it's going into to allow for space around the bed. It it exceptionally comfortable and so supportive, I have suffered from stiff lower back pains and occasional piriformis syndrome for years - within a few weeks and it's gone... no pain or aches at all. Yes it's on the firm side, but nothing like what other reviews are claiming. It is at best (or worst?) a medium-firm, but... that latex top almost wraps around you giving the impression the bed is much softer. It's a weird sensation - you feel like your sinking into an ultra-soft pillow-type bed, but the firmness of the springs underneath give you all the support and comfort you could want. I actually look forward to getting early nights! Feels well made, and am very happy with the purchase.

Looked at many different beds in store and finally decided on a pocket sprung with a latex pillow top as it would be supportive and also cooler than our exisiting memory foam one. They were all over £1000 most with far fewer pockets so bought online and delighted with the product and the service. Delivery was perfect with selection of days to suit and am or pm slot. Received email to say exact timing and a phone call on the day when the delivery was 10mins away. This is a lovely mattress.

Fabulous quality bed for half the price you'll find in the shops. As far as I can make out, the Norham is made specifically for Amazon, but is in fact the same as you'd find on the High Street with a different name and a higher price tag. I previously had a RA bed, so knew it was a quality product, but couldn't afford the High Street price.

had this bed for a year now and it is absolutely fabulous.. Always get a great night sleep and the price was good too
