Very handy to have available.Was able to removed a couple of edge small burs after skiing but didn't feel the need to carry it on the slopes.When returning home I got a good edge back on the skis before wax for summer storage.On criticism was the file moved about in the holder but wasn't a major issue.Smaller than it looks in images but not an issue
