This tool is definitely a huge time saver! I crimped 10 couplers (21 presses) during this plumbing project. The main water shut off won’t fully close, so there is always water in the pipes making it very frustrating and nearly impossible to sweat fittings in the past, so I got this progress-type tool for this project.The first crimp left a little ear on where the jaws closed on the outside, like others have mentioned, so I looked at the jaws of the much more expensive tools and saw they don’t meet flat like the jaws of this one does. I roto-tooled a slight camber on the edges and perfect crimps after that!I didn’t cuss or throw anything across the room while using this tool, so that says a lot, since my projects usually involve a lot of both!

If you are a DIY-er this is great. Heavy, requires muscle, but gets the job done.

I am not a professional but i wanted to use something that generally accepted over sweating pipes. This press is strong. You need some muscle for the brass fittings but overall its pretty fool proof. I will be using this for all my diy projects going forward. The 1 inch fitting crimps on both sides and i used this on Tee fittings with no issue.

In order to properly use this tool u gotta be strong have strength on ur arm, cus this work out u gonna get out of this tool is better then going to gym better yet cancel ur membership to the gym. That you won’t need it after you get this tool. I returning mine and bought me Propress

Purchase this to repair a copper pipe leak and it did not disappoint. It's been a month since the repair and the pipe is still holding with no leak. I love that is comes with three sizes dies a pipe cutter and a deburring tool.
