How can these go up by £4.00 From £12 something to £16 something I buy these regular but £16 for 4 refil blades that's a lot of moneyWell I've had to put the title as brilliant and they are but the price jump is ridiculous

These really are good blades, and would get 5 stars from me.I do have an issue with the price though.In common with almost all the big names, Gillette tempt you by a cheap initial package for the razor, and then, once you are committed to the product, they charge far too much for the replacement blades.You can buy a brand new Proglide Power razor, with at least one blade, for around the same price as just 4 replacement blades. Surely that does not reflect the cost of production and distribution, but simply reflects the greed of the manufacturer?I do not blame the supplier because, by comparison with other suppliers, this 4 pack of blades is reasonably priced. But the consumer price will be dictated by the underlying Gillette manufacturer price, and I just cannot believe that the manufacturing price needs to be anywhere near the prices charged to the consumer.Shame on Gillette and the other 'big' names for an obvious consumer con.But the supplier is not to be blamed, so I could award 5 stars to them for a good set of Proglide blades. But I deduct a star on principle for the manufacturers overpricing of accessories.

Razor blades are undoubtedly a costly investment but the Fusion ProGlide system delivers a wonderfully smooth and comfortable shave. The blades hold up well to repeated uses, maintaining sharpness. Paired with the battery powered subtle vibration of the shaver itself I have never been more happy with a wet-shave.The combination of several front facing blades and a single rear-facing blades allow for precision shaving of even tricky areas such as under the nostrils and below sideburns. Compared with previous iterations of Gillette razors I have found this to be generally 'safer' in that I have not cut myself during use - this may just be practice but the action of the blade seems to lend itself to avoiding abrasions/injury even when shaving 'against the grain'.Buying from Amazon is an ideal way to reduce costs for an expensive item like this, but savvy shoppers would do well to explore all the deals - including those that feature a new shaver which may perversely be cheaper than the blades alone! I was so impressed with the original razor that I bought a gift set for my father which has quickly replaced his Gillette Mach 3.

Genuine blades for sure. Really smooth and shaves well. No nicks/cut and no skin irritation, perfect. The only reason I can see some people might be struggling with these from some other reviews is perhaps they're neglecting to use shaving cream/gel - despite the blades being from the ProGlide series and having lubrication strips, I still use shaving gel with them, and have had zero issues. Strongly recommended and would definitely buy again!

I have always stuck with this brand.

I’m familiar with the old version of these blades for over 10 years. Now with these new blades I feel more comfortable when shaving my beard. Very sensitive blades and super sharp. Great value of money.

I use these blades in a razor that vibrates. It gives the closest shave I can ever give myself in a safe way. I hardly ever suffer from cuts except when I use a cut throat razor (I invariably get a few cuts with the cut throat no matter how careful I am). Quite expensive though.
