Tangential
Man, talk about tangents - I was mostly ok with first half of book. I say mostly because it stuck to a storyline that was easily digested although it tasted bland to my mind. So I kept reading because after all, I paid for it (in more ways than one).Imagine yourself driving 70mph on a highway with no other vehicles in sight. Now imagine finding yourself almost crashing into a dead end barricade. You suddenly have to make a decision to turn (at 70mph) either left or right. Your thoughts are completely disrupted by the sudden necessary change of direction. Your thought process churns furiously for a split second trying to make sense of what just happened. Fortunately, your brain kicks into gear and you successfully make the necessary turn. Whew! You survived! But! There is another dead end with which to contend and even more unexpected than the first. However, instead of a barricade of wood and metal, this barricade is comprised of popcorn and noodles. With that not so great analogy, this is where I found the tangential direction of this book. It changed from wood and metal to popcorn and noodles. I was completely undone by the taste of the tangent. It made me rather ill and shaking my head saying to myself, 'what the hell???' Of course, as always, I finished this so-called novel that had the audacity to be published. I closed it with a sigh of relief but I'm still shaking my head at the complete nonsense that popped up at about midway and unfortunately continued to the end. This critic (me) feels completely justified in the one-star rating, although if given the option, I would have rated it much lower.

WOW!! What a book!
If you are a fan of books like those written by authors Stephen King and Dean Koontz, then you will really like this book. The author takes time in the beginning so you feel you know the characters, so you begin to wonder if this is a horror story or not. You begin to be suspicious of a certain character, and a little disgusted with another. The last third of the story will amaze you. You never saw or suspected the horror or the surprising ending. I don't often rate a book 5 stars, but this author deserves it for this book. I'm going to purchase another of his books right away, but I'm going to wait a little while before I start reading it. First I need to read something light so I can recover from the ending of this story before I start reading another like this. If you read it, you will know what I mean. WOW!

some mysteries are better left unsolder.
Alex a handsome charismatic husband and father is haunted by the death of his mother, a mysterious park, and his former romances. After his wife has to leave him and their two young sons to go to be with her father critically hurt and hospitalized, Alex meets Annika. Alex nearly destroyed his marriage after his wife found out about him cheating. His wife away,Alex. And his boys are at the beach when they meet the stunning mysterious beauty Annika. Alex is overwhelmed by her beauty and faces risking his marriage and his sons because of this attraction. Who is this strange enticing girl? Where has she come from? Why is she deathly afraid of dogs? This is a unique take on a Fatal Attraction with a paranormal twist. Alex and his sons are admirably realistic. This is a well written story.

Wow!
I'm so glad I picked up this book. A great fix for a King or Koontz fan, it is packed with the paranormal, mystery, and suspense. A fantastically tragic story. Kudos, Mr. Weule.

Weule is a wonderful imaginative writer
Weule is a wonderful imaginative writer, with fascinating characters and great plots. Impossible to sum up the plot in a few sentences, but the story of a man who meets a beautiful girl at the beach while his wife is away and gets too entangled evolves into something first silly, then scary, then ends stunningly originally. Awesome and deserves five stars except it was far, far too long. This should have been a short story. Otherwise well worth reading!

Another gem from Weule
This makes my third Weule story. None have equaled THe Interview, but all are pretty good. Certainly well above average for indie authors. This one has a touch of the supernatural. Hard to describe without spoiling.Suffice it to say that a faithless husband, is tempted by a beautiful, mysterious woman while his wife is away. AS usual Weule's tight plotting moves the story along at rapid pace, and we soon find that he has gotten way more than he bargained for, and put his family at risk doing so.The conclusion is clever and inventive. No downside here. This is a great book and a awesome value for the money. Download, read, and give the guy a good review.

Looking through the yes of the male main character I found this book shows an innocence that seems to 'deteriorate' with the mystery and expectations and the edge between reality and fate, quite provoking. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy being caught up in a plot that tempts the supernatural. I will read more of Eric Weule's writings.

below expectations
Eric Weule is a very good writer. However, this time I kept on reading out of curiosity rather than suspense. Also, because I like his style I kept hoping he could bring it to a believable ending. Unfortunately, I think with his talent he could have done much better.

Yawn.
Can't believe I read so much of this crap before giving up. The revelation at 69% just had me going "Oh ffs" and quickly moving to Candy Crush for a while. One to miss.
