The only cassette bluetooth adaptor that does it all.
This item had no reviews so I was quite hesitant to buy it .But.. It was the only Bluetooth cassette adaptor I could find that could be charged while in use and also has a microphone for hands free calling. The call quality from the microphone is decent and the sound coming through the speakers of my Passat's stock stereo is very good.Highly recommended.

Honest seller.
This was my original review; 'Keeps ejecting out of every cassette player I put it in. Have worked with it all afternoon with NO success. Don't waste your time or money. Go buy a transmitter that plugs into the lighter. Junk, junk, junk, junk, junk. Watched all the videos on the internet for 'how to get it to work' and it doesn't work. If you can get it to work, you can have mine. Ripped off on Amazon again.' After this review, the seller reached out to me and sent me another. Works well and I can honestly say this is a good seller. Will do business with again.

Horrible Hum During Use
just received this adaptor yesterday, plugged it in to charge over night and was excited to use it this morning. Syncing with iPhone 7 as straightforward as they all are with bluetooth setups. I was aware the output volume might be lower than expected so was not surprised, though was disappointed at HOW MUCH I had to crank up BOTH the iPhone output and the Car Stereo volume just to be able to hear even moderately. My hearing, BTW, is fine. The BIG problem is the hum coming from the devise thru the stereo. I had a wired cassette adaptor previously and had no hum issues at all. Even with barely hearing the audio thru the stereo with this BT adaptor, I could hear a low level hum. Increasing the volume so I could at least hear the audio, the hum became very prominent, significantly interfering with the sound of the audio. The charging cable was NOT plugged in when I noticed this humming.I have been searching the net for a support number for this product without success. Neither have I found any information that could help to solve this outside of the manufacturer.I had HIGH hopes on this devise as it is the only one that I have found where you could charge and play at the same time, a HUGE limitation with the other BT adaptors for those of us who do long road trips and need more than 4 -6 hours (at best) of charge time on the BT adaptor. However, unless there is a fix for this hum, it will be unusable.I hope someone from the manufacturer will see this and offer some assistance. If I do not hear back by the end of the weekend I will have to return the item.scott

Works great
I’m really happy with this adapter. I went through a series of wired cassette adapters. They work well, but the wires are annoying and they break eventually. The dongle hangs conveniently in front of the cassette - which is goose hveto press the button to pair each time. I have mine plugged into power (see photo) with the wires neatly organized so they aren’t in the way. Sound quality is good. Maybe a little less bass than cassette adapter but not enough to matter. I would definitely buy it again.

Best Cassette Adapter I've Found Yet
I browsed through products like these for a while before I settled on this one. I read the reviews and was hesitant, but to be honest all of the options I was looking at appeared crappy and short-lived, so what the heck...at least this had Prime.I was convinced it was a mistake when I unboxed it bc the build felt cheap and it appeared that a piece could have been missing from the end of the dongle (there wasn't). But I popped it in, held down the middle button for a few seconds, and it turned on and synced with my phone. I bought this a month ago and it's been working great ever since. I've been so pleased with how well this turned out that I felt compelled to share my experience.I remember reading reviews noting how annoying it was to have to pair every time you start the car, but honestly it's a welcomed inconvenience coming from cassette adapters with the cords (the alternative, with an iphone mini headphone jack to boot if you're like me)...what a nightmare, and for mediocre sound anyways. The sound with this has been fine, and I have a pretty good ear. Just make sure you crank down the iphone volume to no more than 60% and adjust your car volume from there. If you want better quality than this you should stick with CDs or get a car with an aux interface. If this breaks within the year I'll update this review.

Works great once you figure out the quirks
This little unit works very well once you figure out the quirks. You need to re-pair it with the phone each time you use it, but that's as easy as hitting the dongle's middle button. It does make a grinding sound every so often as the cassette drive does it's thing. Output volume not as loud as the radio or CD, so use caution when switching away from the tape input (and as I recall, that's a tape thing, not a problem with the adapter). Could use better instructions to cut the learning curve, thus the one-star knock. That all said, this has been money very well spent.
