I had never seen it before. It's good for certain bags and keeps the contents fresh.

This clips ( I also order larger ones for the chips bags) are the best ones! They really seal air out and are only one piece. I had similar ones but they were two separate pieces which often led to misplace one piece in the rush to clean and organize the kitchen.

I love these clips. The small clips are great for small candy bags and I've used them to re-seal small cracker bags. The largest clips are great for chip bags. I wish they made one slightly larger for larger bags. These things actually seal the bag and keep contents fresh for many weeks.

Good Product for reasonable Price

These clips are awesome. I found a 10" one in a store a couple of years ago and had been looking for them ever since, and finally found them on Amazon. They work for vegetable bags in the freezer, chip bags, and even work for my heavy duty 30 pound dog food bags. I cut off a corner large enough to pour dog food into a smaller container and then clip the bag at an angle. I have to give it a some pressure because of the weight of the plastic, but the clip closes and doesn't break. Easy to use and very secure! Note: the clips could be tough for arthritic hands because they close so snugly.
