It is, in fact, paper tape. Just like it says. I did not check to ensure it measured exactly 1 inch wide as I left my calipers at work but my carefully calibrated eyeballs say it is within acceptable parameters.

This tape seems to be comfortable, non irritating and strong for holding a bandage in place. Other tapes have not worked as well.

I researched all the tapes. I tried this one. It sticks excellently and I can tear it off with my fingers. I use it for labelling storage food containers that I freeze. However, they are very good for taping a gauze to the skin without sticking too hard on the skin and causing redness. The reviews were good too as well as the price!

Good product at a reasonable price.

This 12 pack of surgical tape is wonderful to have around. Having 2 teen boys we see our fair share of cuts, scrapes, and burns. Most bandages are not the right size or won't work for what they need. So I am often making my own bandages with gauze and medical tape. This is great for that. It also does not hurt or irritate the skin. It's great quality tape and easy to peel.

Update: Still using these several months later, I have gone through multiple rolls already solely for mouth taping and they work so well! It's so nice to not wake up with a dry mouth and it feels easier to fall asleep somehow as well. I will definitely be purchasing these on repeat.I bought these for mouth taping. The width is perfect whether you use them vertically or cover your whole mouth. I used two pieces in an X shape.Pros- Cheaper than the 3M micropore tape!- Sticks VERY well but amazingly doesn't hurt to take off and comes off relatively easily without taking hair off skin or skin off lips at all- Doesn't leave ANY sticky residue- More breathable than most tapes- No irritation or reactions to the tapeCons- Your skin will still feel slightly moist when you first take it off, but it goes away quicklyOther: Company is USA-based, product is made in China.I absolutely LOVE this tape!
