Fisher-Price The Sing-A-Ma-Jigs Duets, Purple with Baby

I don't see the big deal about these , yet my now 3 year old loves it. We bought her one six months ago because she insisted she wanted one. At the time she was only able to press its hand. However she recently pulled it out of her toy box and the belly still works yet the hand doesn't. She begged for another one, so I just purchased another one for her. It must be ok since she asked for another just like the one she already had !!

Bought this for my niece's birthday. I bought her sister one too so they could have even more fun :) They both loved them and all the adults thought it was cute. It can get a little annoying if your child REALLY loves it, but at least it isn't loud! Easy to change settings. Glad I bought it. My kids had these when they first came out and we all had fun playing with them.

My Granddaughter was very excited when she opened her Christmas package. She tried to make the toy sing and nothing happened. We thought it came without batteries so my Daughter-in-law and 3 year old Granddaughter went to install batteries. We were in the living room and my Daughter-in-law called for my son to come in a hurry because my Granddaughter and her Mother had battery acid on their hands. Very disappointing start to Christmas this year.

My nephew has a few of these and just adores them. I decided to purchase this for some friends but it arrived pretty banged up. Suspicious, I removed the bears from the package only to find that it did not work at all. I decided to replace the batteries in case that was the issue. When I opened up the battery case (which wasn't super easy by the way), I found ikea batteries inside, which seemed a bit odd. I replaced them with new batteries and the toy still did not work. I plan to return it and have a new one sent but I would expect that a toy coming directly from Fisher Price to be in much better condition.

I was disappointed in this one, I wondered how it would work but nothing. Changed batteries still nothing so I will be sending this one back. Sorry

A little hard to understand song. It's cute how the both sing. It's hard to resist a Siing A Ma Jig!

I bought this product for a Grandchild. She has not received it yet but I'm confident the doll will be thoroughly enjoyed!

Really adorable, just like the rest of the Sing-A-Ma-Jig clan (we have four now, I think). I love that they're built to harmonize with each other, and my 4-year-old was thrilled to play with them. She also immediately wanted to call a friend to show him.There are two down-sides of this toy. First is the fact that it's really hard to understand the words of this song. "Hello My Baby" isn't as simple a song as most of the others they've done before. I know the basic melody of the song, but didn't know all the words... and still don't now! I had to go to YouTube to hear a performance of it so I'd know if I was pressing the tummy at the right intervals. I wish the words had been recorded clearer on this. And maybe a lyric sheet should be included.The other down-side is price, which I think is high for a toy that is essentially a novelty. Even though we love our Sing-A-Ma-Jigs, we only pick them up to play with them maybe once a month for a couple of minutes at a time. I'm curious to see how the Duets perform at this price point.
