Excellent all-in-one fire kit ! Couldn't be happier with it all.
This kit is excellent ! It arrived on time and everything was included that is shown in the pics above. The Molle bag is well made with nice big zippers and zipper pulls. It has 2 zippers on top, each for an equally sized internal compartment that contains a separate, smaller area inside for small items. It has an external pouch on the front and Molle on the back. Everything fits great inside with room to spare for your personal touches.... I added some UCO stormproof matches in one of those cheapie orange H2O proof matches containers that I got from Walmart, a Bic lighter, a small UCO beeswax candle, a small bag of dryer lint, fluffed up jute twine and cotton balls, a small Nite Eyze keychain flashlight, I wrapped a few more of the larger fatwood sticks with jute and put them all in a small canvas bag w/ a "ranger band" to keep it closed , and I sharpened the knife. I put the credit card multi tool and a small 5× magnifying glass both in the front outside pouch with room left over for a few other similar sized things, the fatwood bag, fatwood dust bag, lint/jute/cotton bag and char tin are all in one of the larger compartments , with the ferro rod/striker ,matches, flashlight, saw, etc in the other. I'm very surprised by how nice it all is. The fatwood is true fatwood too, not man made crap either, same for the other fatwood bits. The ferro rod is large enough to actually hold onto, and throws good sparks with the included striker that isn't a cut down hacksaw blade but one designed for the task. The " neck knife" is also a great little addition. It comes with a small, thin leather sheath that isn't the best but will work just fine until I come up with a replacement. It does come sharp and takes an edge quite easily too. All in all this is a GREAT little all in one fire kit that covers just about all the angles for basic fire starting bushcraft style thats a perfect addition to your kit. I plan on putting mine on my ALICE belt when I'm bushcrafting, and in my pack when hiking. I HIGHLY recommend getting one... with as much as I added to mine and still have room for more stuff if I want you can't beat it. Everything is good quality and you can tell its put together right here in the U.S and not in a Chinese sweat shop 10,000 at a time lol. I couldn't be happier with this kit, definetly 100% true to the Amazon description.

Great stuff hi quality.
Bought 1 of these a while back been using it to start up a fire quickly. Great little kit to have if you’re out in the woods and it’s been wet out! This kit is so nice I just bought 2 more for other camping/hiking bags.

Great all-n-one kit
Tried the kit out as soon as I received it. I mixed the waxed wood dust with some magnesium flakes/dust and used my Zippo ferro rod ans striker to try to ignite the tinder. After several attempts, adding a pinch more magnesium powder each attempt, I finally got the pile to ignite. I was able to start a small stable fire with aboit a ¼ bag of the wood dust & ½ bag magnesium flakes. The pack has plenty if room to add more fire making gear. Nice starter kit, good product, useful packaging.

Great Value. Excellent Quality. No need to say more.
Great quality pack. Comes well packaged in nice thick zip locks. Great Fatwood fire starter. Ferro rod strikes well. Jute twine was a nice addition to this kit and the cable saw works surprisingly well. Highly recommended if you want a great little fire kit.

Kitted up for all of your fire making needs for emergencies or just camping/hiking
I gave this kit a try for fire-making during hiking in the foothills. The pouch is sized just right, unless you are an ultra light fan. I don't have any issues with hiking with 40-60lbs of gear for camping purposes, especially for 4-5 nights at a time. The fat wood is definitely easy to ignite and provides you with a good source to dry out damp kindling and get a good fire going. I generally bring along at least three different methods of fire making and keep them intentially separate from each other. Always have one in a pocket, on my person. Another attached to my pack and a third around my neck. Maybe I am just paranoid, but a crummy freezing night is not my idea of an enjoyable camping trip. This small pouch is lashed to my pack. It keeps the internal space available for other camping equipment without adding too much weight. Even if you just had this for a day hike and attached it to a belt or a small shoulder bag, this is a fantastic little kit to have with you, just in case.

Best bang for $
The only two items I would add to this kit is a pocket bellow and birch bark.. this comes with everything you need to get a fire going. Whether you follow the instructions on the card or use items seperatley this is a kit designed assembled by those who like campfires and bushcraft. Great compartized molle pouch as well. Great jobs guys & gala. Well worth doing a you tube review on
