So charming
I loved West—he was so charming and witty. And JT was a sweetheart. I loved their romance. However, I did feel like the book ended kind of abruptly.

An enjoyable read
I’m a fan of the bet trope in romance novels, so I was looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint.

LOVED IT!!
Reader, I loved every moment of reading JT and West's story. Every. Moment. It was the book I needed at the right time, and I couldn't put it down. We start off meeting JT and his mom, who is the Dean of his new college. She immediately warns him off the Park Avenue Princes, who we come to know through West, and their bet to corrupt the Dean’s son. From this moment, you want to hate West for agreeing to this deceit, but you cannot. He is charming, clever, quick witted, and his arrogance is top-notch. The chemistry and connection between JT and West smolders at their first meeting, and never lets up throughout their story. I loved all the first time feels of JT’s discovery with his sexuality and their first kiss was perfect. The UST between them was so strong, and the steam these two put out only grew. I loved seeing their relationship develop, and even when you knew that big elephant in the room was looming, it was such an enjoyable story. As these two became so intertwined with each other, It seemed they could get through anything that got tossed their way. I anticipated the big cringy bet reveal, but it was written within the story so well I didn't even have time to inner monologue my dismay. I was so sad to have their story end, but I am so looking forward to the rest of the prince’s finding their HEA and hope we can get some more glimpses of JT and West along the way! This was a wonderful read, and I couldn't recommend it more!

Pretty Silly, But Cute
The “cruel intentions / gossip girl” vibes of this book initially drew me into the story, but JT is what made me enjoy the book. The book starts with West and his friends trying to “corrupt” JT. They take him to clubs, get him to sneak off campus, but all of that read a bit cliche and boring. Rich kids being rich and filling their days and evenings with debauchery? Yawn. The story only got interesting once it was clear West and JT actually liked each other rather than just lusted for one another. Their dates were sweet and adorable. The spice was still spicy but laced with more and more emotion. And it was clear the two shared growing feelings. But it needed more. There was too much “telling” and not enough “showing” by the authors. The last part of the book was a bit too fast for me. The groveling was a bit meh and didn’t have enough emotion. JT’s emotions were crystal clear but again, it seemed like the authors struggled to fully humanize West while maintaining his “privileged rich boy” persona.I’m not sure if I’ll continue reading the series. I’m curious for the other “princes” to be humanized a bit, but I’m not sure I’m interested if their parts of the stories are as meh as West’s was in this book.Tropes: Opposites Attract, Fake Relationship / Bet, College Kids, Dual POVRating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5Spice: 🌶️🌶️ 2/5Relationship: MM

“West murmured against my lips. “You taste better than I imagined.” “You imagined this?” My voice was a breathless whisper that I should’ve been embarrassed about, but I couldn’t find it in myself to care.”“I slammed my mouth down on his in a fierce kiss, making him moan. The sound was better than any damn poem I’d heard tonight.”In a twisted act of revenge for being punished for a prank, West accepts a bet from his friends to seduce and corrupt the dean of their university’s son, JT.West is so charismatic and fun that it is easy to see how JT falls for him, even as just a friend at first. But it was hard for me to like him and believe that these two could get a HFN because of how callously West and his friends discussed JT and the bet. It’s good that Frank and Blaine are good enough writers to put little seeds of West’s deeper feelings for JT through out because otherwise, it would have been hard to forgive him for the bet. This book reminded me a bit of Betting You by T. Ashleigh, but that one was easier to forgive the guy acting on the bet because one, he was already interested in the guy, and two, he went into the bet reluctantly and hated himself for the whole thing most of the time. But here, West is so entitled and used to being able to get away with anything that he doesn't seem to feel guilty for what he’s doing. Not until very late in the game. And it's jarring to read JT’s thoughts, about how West isn’t as a bad a guy as people have made him out to be, and then go to West’s thoughts where he’s being so calculated and cunning in seducing JT. Yet, by the end, I was rooting for them to get their happy ending.I did like how JT embraced new experiences and how he encouraged West to go out of his comfort zone, too, by experiencing some of JT's world (ie the not lap-of-luxury world). And loved how JT may have had an air of innocence, but that didn't mean he was weak or couldn't stand up for himself.I still think West got off more easily than he deserved, but I was happy for them anyway. I do wish there had been an epilogue. Maybe since this is an interconnected series, we’ll get something more by the end.At this point, two more books in the series are out, and I do want to read them, but I’m most curious about East and Travis. I’m curious to see if Frank and Blaine will be able to make East at all sympathetic because he’s really rather vile here. And I want to know what the deal is with Travis and Caleb. I predict an enemies to lovers story with those two is coming up.

WOW!
That’s was so much better than I thought it would be! I kinda of want to keep it in my library with all my other favorites! I’m excited to read the next book in the series. I love how West and JT fell in love.I fell in love with the author Ella Frank when I read the 6 book series of Tate and Logan. I’m glad I came upon the Park Avenue Princes series.

JT, the Golden Boy
I’ve read this series completely out of order, but I’ve enjoyed it nonetheless. Bet romance stories are some of my favorites. I love the groveling and the grand gestures that come along with it. The grand gesture in this one brought a few tears to my eyes. JT and West had such amazing chemistry. The playboy and the golden boy.Now there’s only Salacious and Notorious left.

Amazing
I loved this book, a classic that never loses its charm, right??Sometimes we just want a very cliché romance to distract us and that's exactly what this book is amazing

Wow oh Wow
Before I was 10% through I loved these characters. By 25% I went back and purchased the book instead of just having it on kindle unlimited because I already knew I’d be reading it again and again. The way these authors write these characters you can feel the sex appeal dripping off them. Especially West. A bad boy hasn’t seemed this hot since Viper in the Fallen Angel series. And JT is sweet and fun without being a goody-goody. A perfect balance.Despite how much I liked West though - there was a moment in time where I was very glad to see JT not take any BS and putting West in his place.I’m happy not to be left on a cliffhanger as these books are stand alone’s - but I still can’t wait for the next one. This is going to be another amazing series.

You can never go wrong with a Frank/Blaine combo
Is it too much to admit that Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine ALWAYS deliver perfection in my eyes???..Such a great story. Love everything about it. JT is no shrinking wall flower, he is passionate and so earnest and the way he slowly starts to trust West is just so sweet. And West..... you can't help but fall for his bad boy attitude. When he finally admits that he's fallen for JT it's just such a rush. And the poem is everything. Can't wait to read the next book.
