I am currently restoring an old corvette. With this project, I had to replace the gas tank. The gas tank is located under a large fiberglass cover. This cover uses U-clips and screws. When I removed the cover, there were spots for approximately 12 clips to be installed and fastened. The cover only had 4 in place. I plan on using these clips as the replacements to complete the project. The included clips are of above average quality metal. The included screws are also of above average quality. When I line up the clips with the cover, they fit perfectly. I like these U-clips.

Excellent assortment for DIY mechanics
I've run across clips such as these on Jeeps, Jags, and a lot of other makes in between - they're pretty frequently used, so it's really nice to have an assortment on hand in case you're ever in need, or picked up a fixer-upper that might be missing a couple of these.
