Symphony Diet 22i Evaporative Air Cooler

Easy to use out of the box.I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful and effective this is for such a compact unit.My Beldray air cooler has been great during the recent heatwave but we really needed something compact and more powerful for the bedroom. This works really well as a fast, efficient air cooler. Remember to leave a window or door open when in use. Otherwise this type of cooler does not work to its full potential and can make a smaller room feel a bit too humid and will not cool the air as much as it can do.I do find it a tad noisy, but for this price point I did not expect it to be "whisper quiet". It doesnt bother me as I use ear plugs to go to sleep anyway.I found it really does cool the room down as it has got some power, yet it is economical to use. The remote control and auto cut off to save the pump from any damage when the water runs low is a real bonus.Filling the water tank is a little tricky as the openings are a wee bit small, however this is a small price to pay.All in all, speaking as someone who has used air coolers for years, I am very happy with this purchase. Make sure the unit is fully drained and the components are dry before storing away during winter.

PostscriptOnly lasted two summers before it started giving off a fetid smell as the honeycomb pad needed replacing. Unfortunately it appears that these pads aren't available so the only alternative is to buy a replacement cooler.Original reviewHas really helped us get through the recent heatwave. It is a giant fan but blows cool air. It doesn't cool the room much but makes it feel much more comfortable. Like any fan you need to sit directly in the air flow to fully benefit. To be honest I didn't find it that loud.

Arrived within 24 hours, but was immediately disappointed. It does cool the air and no issue with performance in that regard. However It was advertised as 'Whisper silent', which is important if you want to use it in the bedroom. This unit is definitely NOT 'whisper silent'. It is at least 4 times noisier than the noisiest fan. No way could we sleep through this. I tried it in the office a well, but again it was far too noisy. So returned it the next day.

Easy to use, cools air well.

The product did exactly what it said it would do and did it well. It came all packaged and ready to go once the castors were pushed in and the water tank filled. It is slightly noisier than we expected, but the cooling was better than expected. A good purchase

Incredibly noisy machine. Can't use if you want to watch TV or listen to music. Seems to work OK.

Good product just sorry the instruction CD did not work and we tried various options, so we are still not sure of the full instruction mode is correct. The item is easy to use and easy to fill but we are not sure if it produces enough cold air and without full instructions perhaps we are not operating it correctly. We phoned asking for instructions they were sent but were so basic it did not help, so I am sorry to say we would rate the product Average.

This item was purchased for my Son's shop and it works beautifully. Quiet, elegant and very efficient. Certainly an asset to his Business.
