I’ve used this for multiple pieces of furniture I’ve made. There is hardly any smell, easy to apply, easy to clean up, beautiful color. I used it on a desk three years ago and the color has lightened slightly over the years but has held up very well. This company will be my go-to for years to come. Don’t forget to buy their top coat!

Very happy with this stain. The customer service was also exceptional. We used the stain to refinish our dining room table, chairs, and a bench. The color took nicely. It has been several months now and it is looking vibrant -- just what we wanted. We tried several colors before finding the one we wanted. The company rep was super friendly and helpful. They sent us some small samples quickly when we needed them. I would recommend this product and company to anyone. One of the most important issues to us was that we wanted stain that was not loaded with harmful chemicals and filled our house with stink while working with it -- this stain was perfect -- easy clean up, almost no smell when applying (smelled like water), and quick drying. We feel good knowing our little girls are eating and living on surfaces without toxic chemicals. It would have been faster to find stain at the local hardware store, perhaps, but this stain was well worth it. Excellent product. Excellent surface. Life friendly.

I recently bought a major brand stain for a small restaining project and though I am sure people who work with that brand say it works well, I could not stand it...I smelled it for a whole month on the furniture. That is with letting it all air out on a balcony for weeks! I HAD to find a LOW VOC stain, but my local hardware store said they don't carry them because of quality, so I ordered here. It came faster then expected and I used it today to my delight. I do not see any quality issue-it works well and had NO SMELL! I got some on my skin and it didn't irritate me and washed fairly easily. The packaging was eco-friendly, small and there was a free sample inside of another product. Great company that I wish the best to. P.S. The LAVA color is beautiful, though I wish it was almost as red as the fluid is when applied and dried.

Really great stain. I purchased this color along with the Warm Vintage color. Both were perfect! Really easy to apply with almost no odor at all. The color really came out amazing. I played around with the colors and mixed and match as well to get different shades and it was really great. I will definitely buy this guy without hesitation. I took a chance on this stain because we used a name brand from the store and it was just too strong of an odor inside the house. We had a newborn and we were worried about the VOC's. The odor for that stain was so strong we had to remove the stained doors from the house for two weeks. This stain was used in our basement and didn't require any time to air out.

Using color #95, Concerta, I stained two pieces, a International Concepts Solano Sofa Server Table and a International Concepts Bombay Media Center both made from solid unfinished parawood. Unfinished the parawood looks like pine and stained like pine. Based on the product description I was expecting a more transparent stain. One coat was taken up almost completely by the wood leaving a streaky look so I followed with a second, wiping up the excess with an old cotton sock. Wearing the sock on my hand I was able to rub the second coat uniform. The color seems true to the picture. After the stain was completely dry I oiled both pieces with coconut oil. There were NO fumes. This was greatly appreciated as was the easy cleanup. Overall a good expereince.

Ok , hate to be a Debbie downer ; but ------- I was a bit taken aback by the color when it dried .It was a almost hot pink red when wet (iridescent mercurochrome in spots) I shook it well . Came in a tough ( though ) plastic bag with a screw capped pour spout .The spots came to the surface as some areas would dry . Not happy , bought barn red to redo finish color , but now has taken about a week to dry , the two are somewhat at odds . Trying it this way first , might have to sand the really big exterior door , not sure yet . Hope it dries ok though . Lol but not , oh well , win some lose some . But it's cost is not an insurance to out come .

I liked that it could be used indoors with adequate ventilation. Low VOC's meant it didn't smell bad enough to do any harm, if careful. What I didn't like about this product was the staining ability. Left it on longer than suggested, but the golden oak just made all the wood a medium mustard yellow. will most likely not use again.

It’s a great stain. The bag seems so small but I was able to use three coats on 7 foot bookshelves and still have plenty to spare. I didn’t sand off the old finish first, which is why I needed all those coats. It’s a deep emerald green and so pretty. I’m sure it would have been even better if I’d done the prep work, but I just didn’t want to. It looks great as is and will absolutely buy this again again for any future projects. (It was yellow oak with a clear coat finish before I stained it)
