Halo 4 Series 1 Master Chief Action Figure (Green), 19161-5

The only real problem with this figure is that he is a bit small.But everything else is great! The articulation is excellent, the plastic is high quality, the detail is good, and it's overall a good likeness of the chief.The pin on the side of his gun did snap though, when I tried to place it in a hole in his back.

This Halo 4 Master Chief action figure is very detailed and (up to now) suitable for kids from 4 yr up!The figure is very well built and the moving parts are strong and stable. The only problem I found up to now is that the pin to attach the rifle on the shoulder hole broke almost immediately, but that's a minor issue my sons are dealing with.The assault rifle is very detailed and fits quite well in MC hands, even tough the figure cannot handle it firmly.

You can summarize the model's articulation and features pretty much by splitting it in half at the abdomen. the top half is as articulated as I could have asked for, making his upper half (which to be fair, is the half you will be looking at) perfect for putting it in poses. The problems start as you start to head south as despite how easy it is to put him into pose his feet are awkwardly jointed to the point where making him stand up is incredibly difficult without assistance. His feet have two joints to them, one at the ankle and one ridiculously half way through the foot begging the question of whether the chief inside this armour is in fact human. Last time my shoes bent left that with my feet still inside them I was sitting at the side of a roller coaster with the realization that the seat belt probably wasn't there for style.The rest of the legs in general are ill designed. I mean seriously I thought we moved past that awkward hip join that makes making it impossible to sit the model down, which I planed top do the get past the foot issue. To make matters worse if you do want him to sit down now you have to tuck the armour on the sides of his thighs underneath him. Blooming Nora he really mustbe an alien and to make matters worse she is one of those aliens off Futurama!The paint job is pretty good, its detailed and features a nice mix of coloured plastic, nice glossy gold for the visor and a very subtle and well-applied dry brush effect that gives it a touch of artificial wear and tear. Well done McFarlane, one gold star for you!I think the problem with the piece is its purpose is not very well established. Its crunchy, poppy, clicky joints hit that there was a genuine conscious effort to make this a display piece further justified by the detailed paint job. This cannot be however as the entire model is too top heavy, the fact the model comes without a stand and the models efforts at articulation over detail oin al; areas but the blooming hips. I meant really I understand wanting to have the awkward knee joints but whats the point if he cant sit without great manipulation?I'm not sure if its just me but the feet on my seem to be slightly curved at the bottom due to the questionable joint further exacerbating the foots questionable integrity and making it difficult to put the model into a heroic pose mimicking the cover of the game which is probably what you wanted to do in the first place. If you can you may win one internet as congratulations of reaching a new level of nerdity and qualifying you for the unbernerd club, the place where nerds that spend hours posing action figures and writing overlong Amazon reviews. We meet every Thursday for a LAN party including the obligatory amount of intellectual D*** measuring and ceaseless complaining session. First to top themselves gets free hat.As a stand alone model it is pretty damn good for the cost. I payed £11.51 all in all and the result was a not greatly articulated but highly detailed model and while I have heared taht this model is much smaller than the older models I only have this one so no comment. I must point out I wouldn't advise this toy to small kids, the joints might annoy them to death but I am making its education value high simply because how enlightening it is about the Chief's true form!

Brilliant Master Chief stands on guard watching over my mug of coffee, keeps the cats away from my drink. All joints are movable and stands well balanced. The way this is made is so much better than expected Thanks for such a realistic model

Ordered one of these for my son, unfortunately it wasn't delivered- Amazon refunded the money and despatched another with no P&P- delivered as expected. Well done!My son loves the figure- he's Halo 'mad' and this character is apparently one of the best, both in quality and detail.

I do love this figure, well crafted and painted (apart from the disappointing lack of range the legs can move), but a great figure! Only problem I had which irritated me is that part of it kept coming off, as soon as I took it out of the box. McFarlane need to see these problems before they ship them!

This was purchased for my son, a HALO fan of 20+!! For his needs , that is as a display, it was perfect and this is reflected in the star rating. However if it was purchased as a toy I would have my doubts about the longevity of the product in the hands of a 11yr old! Having said that it is a must have product for HALO fans.

Ill start off with all the nice stuff for the halo 4 master chief figure the paint job and sculpture is outstanding ill give them credit for that and that's where all the good stuff endsNow for the bad bits weapon scale is not set for the halo 4 and reach size after compering it to other halo figures made by McFarlane toys there's only a fraction size change from the 1st halo figures they started to makeArticulating was dropped big time with the halo 4 range when compered to other prevues halo figures down to the point where u can only move the figures from the knees down as they have almost to very little movement at the hip joint should be funny to see them when they bring out a warthog the figures be like the Flintstones with they're legs sticking out the bottomIf u plan on having it on show a rather nice display peaceIf u intend making a diorama then make sure u cut it legs off diagonally at the hipsIf its for overall play get a reach or older halo line as they will fit the vehicles that r already out there and even the halo 4 line that they'll make

Die Figur ist sehr detaliert und wirkt auch nicht billig. Hat viele Gelenke, die jedoch teilweise sehr schwer zu bewegen sind, so dass ich anfänglich schon Ängste hatte, da etwas zu zerbrechen/kaputt zu machen. Aber bis jetzt alles gut, da ich die Figur eh nur wenige male zum Ausrichten genutzt habe. Jetzt steht diese Figur in der Vitrine und sieht einfach gut aus. Aufgrund der Größe fällt diese Figur jedoch nicht sonderlich auf (in etwa so gross wie 1 1/2 Zigaretten Schachteln aufeinander gestapelt).Mit dabei ist die standard Waffe, die man via Pin am Rücken befestigen kann. Für die Vitrine ist diese Figur aufgrund des Detailreichtums sehr geeignet.Wer für seinen Sohnemann (oder Tochter) schlicht nur eine ActionFigur kaufen möchte, sollte lieber andersweitig zugreifen^^Für Sammler und jeden Halo Fan nur zu empfehlen.Lieferung war auch einwandfrei und pünktlich wie angekündigt.

I would like to start this by saying this figure came within 2 days of ordering it so, definitely a plus for fast delivery.The unexplained new look for Halo 4's Master Chief is overall an improvement to his original design. McFarlane was able to capture this new look beautifully on their figure. Not only is the detail great, but the pose-ability is amazing, the assault rifle fits snug in his hands, and the figure is very sturdy.My one real complaint is the stiffness in the joints, but this is small sense I use this figure for display which looks great with my other Halo figures. Plus, the stiffness pretty much ensures that once you get him into a pose you like, he will stay in that pose, so my complaint is also a plus.Over all, a great figure. I'd recommend this to any Halo fan.
