These are very solid plant covers, they are heavy enough to keep the elements off, but still allow the air in. The mouth opens decently wide and the draw string closure works well. If your plant is small or not very strong you will need a stake to keep the plant cover from folding it over to the ground. Overall, these are good covers for plants and do what they are intended to do.

I decided to get these burlap winter bags for my 2 year old Big Leaf Hydrangea Macrophylla and Curly Purple Macrophylla Hydrangeas. They are supposed to flower on new wood, but this year they did not do so well and only had one or two blooms on only a few plants. This fall, I noticed buds on the tips so I decided to protect the old wood to see if that helps next years blooms. I used landscape fabric to hold the branches together (Thats what I had available) you can used chicken wire. I added lots of leaves and tied it up then I slipped the burlap bags over and secured the bottom with the draw strings. Over all I am pleased with the outcome, I will see how these Hydrangeas do next year after the last frost. I will update with pictures of flowers if the buds survive the winter. Overall the Burlap bags were easy to use, the fabric is much better quality than the Burlap fabric you buy in the box stores. If your plants are larger size up on the bags, I had to squish the branches together in order to fit the bags over the shrubs. These are a small verity so it worked well for me.
