McFarlane Toys - The New Batman Adventures Batman 6in Scale Figure

i really liked this specific one, due to the fact of accessories, and the 6-inch 1/12 scale, its very solid, the cape is better than the last dc direct one, the cape lays straight down flat, unlike the last one, the stand is always extra points, due to the character style having the smaller/skinny leg design, the stand is 100% win with these figures, the photo it comes with with the white boarder in the style of a photograph taken with a flash bulb camera, having the white this boarder and a great image of batman from the batman and robin series, i love this figure, and want the joker to be made, without a grey coat, cause that would be my next one,

These figures are great and all, but yeesh - every one of them is a rip-off of something released years ago, pre-McFarlane. How about something ORIGINAL??? A marginally different color, maybe a different accessory - if you're a completist nut like me you start to feel cheated after a while...

McFarlane's reissue of this TNBA Batman doesn't seem as prone to breakage as the original versions from DC Collectibles, the knees are misleading in that they look like they rotate but don't which could lead to an easy break, but otherwise it seems like it's made of more robust materials that will survive the test of time.McFarlane's has all the same design oddities as the original, unusual hip joints and the weird chest emblem sculpt stand out heavily; it adds a redesign on the stand with a more robust but sizable clamp, and a genuine lithograph that's surprisingly nicely presented, yet appears to be of a still from a digital video file. There's a myriad of hands, a thin batarang, a grappling line launcher accessory, and a separate hand with an integrated line launcher. Swapping hands is a simple matter and the pegs don't seem like they're prone to fail. There's only the cape that goes around the shoulders, losing the more freeing second cape from the original release, so this figure's shoulders are fairly hindered.Since there's no build-a-figure part, the MSRP on this is $5 less than the Batman: The Animated Series version at $24.99, which isn't outrageous given how the original DC Direct/Collectibles version was, if I recall correctly, $19.99 when it came out 9 years ago.

This feels like it was ripped right out of the animated series. What a great figure. If you love the series and collect figures this is a must have.
