IBP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor - HL168ZA BPM

The item arrived in prompt fashion and I have been using it now for several days. It is easy to use and I have no reason to believe the results are not accurate though I believe the Trend Line is more more important than any individual reading. All readings are recorded in the machine's memory are readily accessible.The device has been a boon to me as it has saved me time and money in avoiding a twice daily visit to my GP surgery to monitor my BP there. I am sure my GP will compare results when I return to the Surgery in a week or so and it will be interesting to see what correlation emerges with this device and that used by the Practice

Easy to use and record of previous readings very useful. Compared it to NHS reading while having tested in surgery and the IBP read a little higher. But as long as the readings are consistent I dont think this is a problem. Could also be due to comparison between wrist and upper arm.

This BP monitor works fine but you have to make sure your wrist is above your heart apparently; my doctor told me that. It may be close to your BP maybe not exact but it gives you a good way to keep a check on what's happening if you do the same procedure every time. I found it invaluable and it gave me the information that I needed that my BP had reduced over the course of meds that I was taking. I would recommend it as it's a low cost way to keep a check on things. The display is big and there is memory to track the previous readings.

Arrived well packaged within 3 days. The E3 error code occurs if I don't place the monitor at the same level as the heart. It is important to keep still whilst taking the measurement otherwise error codes may occur. This monitor is to replace a monitor of the same make purchased in 2004, so expect it to last a long time. The automatic time-off is useful. It is worth calibrating it against the doctor's monitor. Worth the price.

This is the second ibp monitor I have purchased the first one was purchased approximately 16 years ago it has been brilliant hopefully this will last the same

Very pleased with this machine. The instructions that came with it were comprehensive and clear and the machine itself is easy to use.

After a few months the Velcro wrist band that is fundamental to the operation of this blood pressure monitor loses its grip and therefore renders the unit unusable because it is unable to measure the blood pressure. As far as I am concerned and in my opinion, the support given after sales is bad. The price is cheap, but you get what you pay for.
