Rotring Tikky Mechanical Pencil HB 0.50mm - Blue Barrel

Love this pencil. Nice grip, good propelling mechanism. I still like my old Staedtler ones because they have a spring mechinsm behind the lead which absorbs impact and reduces risk of lead breakage and the Rotring ones don't have that feature, but still a very nice pencil to use.

Good comtable pencil but the tip does not go in. Otherwise, good.

Really helped me since I don’t really like using traditional pencils because of comfort it helped me a lot especially since I do further maths for my a levelsI got nearly full marks in my final grade!

I have owned one of these pencils before and it needed replacing after the feed mechanism basically gave up. But that was with 3 years of everyday use.The barrel is plastic with a rubberised grip and is comy to use. The new pencil is in the orange colour but it is super vibrant, almost florescent. Not that I mind because it means no one can steal it and not be noticed.Anyway.It's a pencil. So long as you out good quality graphite in it it should work flawlessly.

Everything you would expect from a rotring

I've had one of these before which lasted for over 10 years of weekly use so I'm obviously pleased with the product. Just changed the colour this time.

I have purchased the Rotring Tikky pencil in the 0.5mm size, and I am using the same brand of, HB, leads.The pencil is well made and comfortable to use, but I have one major concern: When the cap is clicked to extend the lead, the amount that is propelled is longer than other pencils I am used to using. As such, the leads are very prone to breaking when first "clicked" each time. I end up having to be extra careful as I write, until the lead has worn down a little.I would probably purchase a different brand of pencil if buying again.
