The media could not be loaded.  This body camera was very close to perfect for me with some flaws.First the good stuff.The picture is outstanding.I left a video of it on 1080p which doesn’t really show how clear it is do to how Amazon uploads it.When seen through your computer it’s almost as if you are there.The sound is very clear but does pick up a lot of wind too.Its basically plug and play when hooked up to a Mac.The battery lasts my whole 8hr shift with about half battery left.The buttons are all easy to use in the menus.Now here is the bad stuff but I think a lot of these body cameras are going to be similar.The camera while very small it’s heavy and because of that it wiggles a lot on your shirt.I wish the camera had some form of image stabilization.The record button is sometimes hard to find in an emergency and I think it would have been better off if it was a different color.On 1080p the pre record only records about 6 seconds.10 seconds or more would’ve been better.All in all I’m pretty happy with the camera especially the battery life.I feel much safer doing my job with it and can’t ever imagine now going out there without it on.

The Promnico Body Camera USB Connectivity is different from other digital cameras in that to get USB connectivity the camera has to be on when connecting the USB cord to the PC,then you will see the camera files, you will get the import screenand install software wizard screen which should be canceled as you do not want these, just right click copy & paste the camera files to your PC folder. If you first connect the Promnico to the PC and then turn on the Promnico, nothing happens, the camera is in battery charger mod.Now, other digital and body camera may be connected to the PC by the USB cord and then the camera may be turned on and you will have USB connectivity.I sometimes use the AVS4YOU Viewer to look at digital camera file after they are copied to the PC, the body camera file are to much for the viewer and my MS XP PC CPU limited power, so the viewer does not work well, I have to use Unlocker to free-up the files.So, I copy the body camera files to .AVI with the AVS4You Video Converter, then view the files with the MS Media Player.

This camera is an incredible value for the money. I purchased the camera to use in the classroom to capture the learning process hands free. The picture quality is very good. The sound quality is very good. The lens takes a wide shot and let's in the right amount of like. Watching the footage was like I was there in the moment again. I also used some footage for video presentations. I never had to adjust the color. I like how a snapshot can also be taken while recording.I rarely used the night vision. When I did, it looks the same as on TV. I can even use the camera as a nanny cam. It records for about eight hours and can record while charging. I have dropped it a few times. It is very durable. I haven't used all of the features the camera offers. The ones I needed are great.Its a little bulky to wear. I just clip it onto a belt around my waste.

I use my body cam everyday while I am working. I have always leave it on standby or pre-record.The battery can last up to 8 hours if leaving it on as a pre-record, but will last a bit longer if it is turn off when not use. It would be nice if the battery last a lot longer.

I really wanted to like this device, it looked like exactly what I needed, but it falls short on delivery.After some setup I had it ready to try out. I went about my business doing what I normally do and then went to see what it had recorded.First, I had no luck connecting to it to download the recordings. The one I received would not talk to my Windows 10 PC connected to a USB 3.0 port. After confirming it worked on another (Windows 7) machine, I tried again on the Windows 10 pc, using a usb 2.0 port, which did connect. Apparently it's USB 2.0 and older only?I found that for my my purposes, the narrow field of view (140 degrees) just did not show enough to be of any actual use to me (recording driving). But what really crushed it was the audio. The audio is for all practical purposes useless. I attempted to record some audio in a fairly quiet room and could only hear myself, and barely at that. I was setting at a 5 ft diameter round table, and the people around me could not be heard. In my vehicle it recorded only the mic clipping, nothing of value was audible. For this reason, I am returning this item.The GPS feature was also a disappointment. It will record an overlay showing your gps coordinates, but that's it. No direction or speed, just the coordinates. A 3rd party app is required to use the gps log, though one is included on a mini cd.I did record a short snippet in total darkness and found it had surprisingly decent night vision.Overall though, it was a disappointment. The manual was of little to no help and I found the device to be a bit clunky and heavy. Also, the menu and navigation was not intuitive, but these flaws could have been overlooked had it performed well otherwise.

Good camera for the price but not as user friendly right out of the box. Occasionally, the camera doesn’t record when you think it’s recording, which isn’t good in law enforcement or any other situation you are hoping to capture the moment. I would pay more for more reliable product.

Everything is perfect except one thing... If u record for 10 hours straight, unfortunately, it breaks it into 45 minute files (max, 15 minute default), which seems unnecessary and is annoying, but everything else is perfect. The ability to attach it over ur shoulder using shirts of even the most delicate fabric is absolutely amazing. Beautiful product performance, very durable, if not nearly indestructible. I love it!

we use this as a paranormal pov cam and it picks up orbs, shadows and so far even sounds you cant hear with the human ear only issue am having is with the sound quality , however currently researching this issue to see if its something Im doing
