Will never buy again.
As you can see, it made my tank extremely cloudy. I’m really hoping nothing dies 🙄 I’ll probably have to do multiple water changes now to fix this. Very annoying.

A lot easier than the powder!
I love these- they are a lot easier to use than measuring powder. You just plop in your tank and it dissolves and works on it's own. Conditions the water as expected.

Very convenient, but I think I prefer a liquid water conditioner.
I cleaned my 20-gallon aquarium recently, and I was planning on using a couple of these balls to condition the water. But I still have some of my old, liquid water conditioner left, and after reading a caveat that these aquarium balls might cause temporary cloudiness, I decided to go with the product I've been using and save these for later.I'm sure they will work fine, but after spending hours draining, cleaning, and filling my tank, even one day of cloudiness would be a let down.

Not cost effective
The Aqueon AquaPacs Water Conditioner effectively removes chlorine from tap water, meeting the basic requirement for aquarium use. However, its limitations become apparent when considering the absence of helpful bacteria and other essential water conditioning elements crucial for establishing a new aquarium. This deficiency makes the product less cost-effective, as additional supplements are necessary for comprehensive water quality management. While it serves its primary purpose, users seeking a more comprehensive water treatment solution may need to invest in supplementary products, impacting the overall convenience and value of the Aqueon AquaPacs for setting up a new aquarium.

Not a fan
After a few months of uses I'm not really pleased with these. They often do not fully dissolve even in a high flow filter. I also noticed a whites residue on the top of the water. I will keep using my liquid versions.

Doesn't dissolve
Maybe if I had soft water, but doesnt seem to dissolve well in aquariums with high gH, kH, and pH. Noticed no cleaning effect as well.

Worked well with soft water tank
Our water gets alot of salt build up in our tank from the water softener. I've noticed a big difference in the water quality and how clear it is .

They work okay.
I tried this in my freshwater fish tank, which seemed to have dissolved. However, it left white residue on the top of the water. It seemed to have kept a film of white particles in it. I thought waiting for a days would help clear it out, but it didnt. I scooped it out and now it's fine. Water conditioner wise, it seemed fine and did its job to help condition the water I use at home.
