I buy them for the convenience. They are easy to stick in a pocket or purse. I don't use these regularly and find that the pills stay intact even tossed in the bottom of my bag for months. I suppose you COULD crush them if you hit them with a hammer or stomped on them, but I have yet to have one get crushed in my pocket or purse. I have sometimes had a bit of trouble opening the thick packaging, but I have sometimes resorted to stabbing the packet repeatedly with the large safety pin I also have rolling around in there.

We all know what advil does and that generic may be cheaper but this is very convenient for many purposes. I throw a few packets in my work bag, travel bag, fiancee's bag, etc. Win win win. Advil doesn't need its own review, but Advil in dispenser packets certainly do. These things are great! No longer will you ever be somewhere that you need to take Advil for any situation (headache, muscle ache, fever) and not have it with you. Keep a package or two in your car. Take a few with you for your desk at work. Put some in your favorite jacket or toss two in your purse.Don't deprive yourself of easy access to medication just because buying it in a larger bottle is slightly more expensive. You will thank yourself for buying it in a way you can have on you at all times when you need it.
