For me that I cannot drink coffee, this Capomo coffee alternative is a godsend! It tastes like a dark roasted espresso coffee, I like the flavor very much. I filter it before I pour it, using a sieve.

I love this coffee substitute. Just wish it was more affordable. Can only afford to drink it for a treat, not as a morning pick me up.

I like this as a coffee alternative at night when I have a hunger to drink a cup of coffee, it works. It does have a kind of burnt rubbery flavor that I sort of have to get used to, but other than that it’s pretty good.

This product far exceeded expectations! I have lived for more than 40 years being very "fussy" about the coffee I drink. My preference is dark roast, oily, full-flavored organic coffee. Due to cortisol issues, my doctor recommended I reduce my intake of caffeine, but I don't care for decaf coffee because of the acidity and lack of depth. I'm so happy I tried Capomo as my first choice for a substitute. It really smells, tastes, and looks like a good dark roast coffee. I was able to cut my coffee consumption down to 1 cup in the morning (most days) and 2 Capomos throughout the day. My favorite way to prepare: Boil just under 2 cups of water on the stove, reduce heat to medium, add 4 teaspoons of Capomo, stir, simmer for 12 minutes (stirring occasionally). Then, strain using a pour-over method. It fits beautifully in a standard Bodum glass coffee cup. Finding Capomo is big win for my health and hedonistic love for coffee!
