I know most folks are going to mention Zelda, haha, but ocarinas really do have an amazing history. They’re one of the oldest instruments on Earth, and can be traced back 4500 years in Central American culture! Playing these indeed feels like going back in time.This little instrument is a fun way to experiment with learning the ocarina without investing a ton. If you’ve played an old school recorder before, the breath control needed for the ocarina is pretty similar–it only requires a soft channel of air. They sound fine, and for a person with average-sized hands, you’ll be able to cover all of the needed holes easily. It also includes a neck lanyard to prevent falling to the floor. Traditional clay ocarinas probably sound a bit better, but they can be fragile. I’d start with one like this, and if you find yourself getting into the idea of playing one, you can always pick up a fancy or more traditional one later.

This ocarina is definitely not a high quality instrument, but it is incredibly fun to play around with! It comes with a booklet that's pretty easy to understand, and learning songs only takes a few minutes. Some notes are definitely a little off, but that's fine - it's a toy, after all. The ocarina itself has a nice heft to it, and feels good in my hands. You don't have to try to hard to produce sound, so it's great for kids and adults. Certainly one of the most fun toy instruments I've ever used.

The SIKATIHU 12 Hole Ocarina in Blue is a delightful musical instrument that exceeded my expectations. As a beginner, the C Key makes it easy to produce beautiful melodies, and the plastic construction ensures durability. It's not just an instrument; it's a work of art, making it the perfect gift for both adults and kids.

It's cheap, and you get what you pay for in this case. It's a cute toy but it seems more like a differently shaped recorder than an Ocarina. It's surprisingly hard to get it to make more than the same note. It's possible, but more difficult than it should be.

I have been wanting to try an ocarina, so this kids version was one I could try without spending too much. It is easy to play and there are a lot of free tabs online. On the lower register, it has a beautiful tone, but gets squeaky on the higher notes. It is a good instrument for kids or beginners who want to try one out. For the price, it is well made and not bad sounding. It comes with a lanyard and a nice drawstring bag.

This little instrument is just so fun! The instruction booklet with this little instrument is very detailed. It’s very easy to quickly start playing songs once you understand the concept that the notes go up one step for each finger that is removed from over the holes. Even if you’ve never played a musical instrument in your life, this little flute like instrument is a great place to start. Kind of like the old recorder or flutophone many of us learns to play in grade school. it comes in several different colors so I am able to get a different color for each one of us so that we know which instrument belongs to who. Also the price is extremely reasonable.

Well constructed, good directions:As a big fan of Zelda, I was always interested in learning the ocarina. This product is very well constructed and feels solid and well put together in your hands, especially given the low ~$9 cost of the item. As far as sound quality goes, I'm no expert but would imagine you could find some very high quality versions of any instrument that would sound a lot smoother than a cheaper version like this. With that being said, the item does come with relatively detailed playing instructions, and you could clearly hear the chords you wanted to play when you followed those instructions, making it a great item to learn how to play on.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

The color is vibrant and I am excited to learn a new instrument.
