FAULTY AMP
Replaced an old KTP-445 amp and head unit. The KTA-450 started to crackle and pop and then started over driving the front left speaker. I had to shut it down quickly to keep it from blowing the speaker. Replaced the head unit and it still tried to blow the speaker.Wrote to Alpine who responded with "Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff" and has not yet gotten back to me, effectively giving me the Heismann.Poor quality control and no support. it's a crap shoot if you buy Alpine nowadays.
