You can tell they're cheaply made and not the highest quality, but they work great and who needs military-grade aerospace aluminum for their shower curtain rings anyway? Not me! so my new place needs a shower curtain, and some sturdy hooks will certainly help. for anybody with any experience hanging shower curtains, the semi-open plastic options are a tad finicky and prone to having the curtains dislodged from their grommets, or worst case scenario, breaking -- that said, you'd probably be compromising the shower rod as well by tugging down with that amount of force. of course clip on metal curtain hooks would be better. even better if they're rust proof.this set is gold painted metal (i'm guessing aluminum. they're light). i had a tiny concern that they'd look a bit dollar store fake but honestly, no guests of mine will wander into my home asking what CHEAPO SHOWER CURTAIN HOOKS did i dare use, etc. they don't look bad honestly. see photo. they'll work. as long as the paint stays on, they should be rustproof. 5 stars for now.

I hate shower hooks. They always seem to fall off the bar and end up on the floor for me to step on or hang off the shower curtain or get entwined in each other. I know first world problems. This hooks were so easy to install and they snap in place. They are durable and slide really well on my curved shower bar. I highly recommend these rings if your tired of your shower hooks too!
