Amazing little toy. Our family cat loves it, after a little intimidation.
Great little toy. Couple of things to note: it's really small...like literally mouse sized. That said, it packs a wallop and will really take off on normal mode. At first, our cat Lua was a little scared by it. Like I said, it really takes off! But we switched to "gentle" mode and it slowed everything down enough for her to get used to it. I suggest taking some time to let your cat get used to it at first without it even being turned on. You can sort of roll it around a bit and let them see it's harmless.. then once it starts moving watch them switch into hunter mode fast!! The little feelers light up, so it's a little easier to see where it went off to! I would say keep an eye on your cat with the feelers btw, ours had an initial desire to carry it around by the feelers once she figured out she could and I worry a bit that she will eventually decide to try to chew the soft parts off. Just keep an eye on your cat and don't just leave the toy laying around when it isn't being used. Otherwise, this toy couldn't be any cuter and better. It's a great gift for anyone with a cat!

Super Fun Toy for Cats!
I have 3 cats all of different age and they all love this toy! My 11 month kitten naturally has the most interest in this little snail toy and follows it all over the house. It will occasionally get stuck somewhere, but for the most part, the sensors on this toy help it to keep going for continuous fun! I also think this toy is great in honing a cat's natural hunting instinct and helps to keep them sharp and provide them with the exercise and stimulation they need. The only downside is with the white color, it does get scuffed pretty easily, but that's purely cosmetic and the cats certainly don't care about that! Overall I am very happy with this toy and I know my cats absolutely love it!

Scares cat
I wanted to love this. It seems VERY well made and does exactly what it says it does. This thing goes wild! Came with a decent charge on it so I tried it right out of the box.My cat is terrified. At first she was curious, but at one point while she was staring at it, it was about to hit my foot so I did a little hop out of the way and I think in my cat's head she thought I was afraid of it cause I saw terror in her eyes right before she bolted upstairs. I tried to remedy this by just kinda playing with it in my hand casually when she was around. A few days later turned it back on and it seemed to have worked - she was curious again. But as soon as the lights started flashing she ran. I think the lights are a sensory overload. I tried to rip the antennae out to see if it would help, but it felt like I was gonna break it.Sorry for the length here but my point is, I think this toy is great for the right cat and that cat is not mine. If it didn't have erratic strobing lights it would probably be less intimidating for her. I wouldn't drop stars just because my cat doesn't like something, but this thing legit stresses my cat out which is the opposite of its purpose.

Was great while it lasted!
Here’s the thing, this toy is great and Id have a lot more experimentation if it didn’t disappear after the first couple hours. As a point of reference, we have couches that sit about 3-4in off the hard wood floor and this snail travels under them easily - until it doesn’t.After turning it on and letting it roam it started off great. All the cats in the house were toppling over each other to get a better ‘read’ on this thing. At some point, later that night, I decided to walk away after a couple minutes. It had vanished and I ended up looking everywhere, even moving furniture to find it, because they were having a blast. But let’s get back to the toy itselfThe snail on hardwood is really a complete chaotic mess. It doesn’t move straight, but instead it wobbles all over the place. I don’t know if this is intentional or because I have mainly wood floors but my cats went nuts; seeing my animals happy was enough for me to give this 5 stars. It comes with a charger, and no charger box, and the snail itself.I plan to edit this review once I’ve found it. I have my cats on the case!

Very entertaining
Watching my cat with this thing is hilarious. It zips around and she follows it with the biggest eyes I've ever seen. Won't try to bat it or anything, but she won't take her eyes off it either. It runs pretty well. Good at getting itself lodged in weird places, but also surprisingly good at getting unstuck on its own. The lights in the antennae flash when it's active and when it's resting. Sometimes it falls on its side and breakdances for a bit before righting itself. On thicker carpet it can't zip around as well, but it is better at navigating obstacles than I expected. Great fun!

Works well on large, flat surfaces
I'd really only recommend this toy if you have a fairly large area with flat hard flooring. It claims it works on low pile carpeting, and it does, sort of, but not very well at all. In addition, if you have rough tiling or flooring with grooves between the tiling, this toy is probably going to get caught and need to be moved quite a bit. I'd also recommend a fairly large area, at least 10x10 foot that doesn't have a lot of furniture that the snail can get caught under or steps down to the basement that it can go flying down. With all those caveats out of the way, it does work well and will likely keep your cat(s) entertained for quite a while. It may take them a bit to get used to it first, of course - my cats were initially a bit frightened of the snail zipping around the kitchen ramming into things, then spinning in circles and zipping off in a different direction. Once they watched from a safe distance for a while, though, they eventually decided it was safe enough to play with and had a lot of fun. I really can't let my cats play with it unattended - though the carpeting in my living room is quite thin, it's still enough that the snail barely works, plus it kept getting caught under furniture, and the kitchen has the stairs down to the basement and I have to keep a close eye on the snail to keep it from sailing off the edge into the void.Basically, whether this is a good toy for your cats is going to depend on the layout of your house: if you have wide-open spaces with completely flat flooring, then have fun. Otherwise you may want to look for another toy that will work on a variety of surfaces.
