Extremely Interesting!
This is an extremely interesting and I suspect useful book for visiting Brussels. I have visited, and will be returning in May with the help of this book. I really like the way it is written and the 'comfortable' style of the author. I get the feeling we both have similar styles of interest as I am lured to visit almost every location listed! The only possible confusion-and it is likely my fault -is that I don't understand the number references to the maps. Ah, but all is far from lost; the author has listed locations with the descriptions.I do hope that there will be updates and most of all, that this will be published in digital format.

Excellent
I already knew Brussels pretty well so wanted a guide that offered something a bit different. This book offers just that. Many places that we wouldn't have found otherwsie. We ate and drank well on recomendations made in this book and went to a couple of stunning museums that we wouldn't have know about at all. Only slight gripe is that the maps aren't very easy to use, so a decent map is essential to use in conjunction with it. Otherwise though, a great little book.

An intriguing book, a bit hard to use
Lots of interesting places highlighted, covering a wide variety of interests. They are all supposedly identified on the maps, but not all are there. And the maps have very little detail so you can't actually use them to find somewhere. You really need a street atlas of Brussels as well, but I couldn't find one.

OK
This was not what I was expecting; we did find one of the recommended restaurants which was very good.
