Love it
Covered a ten foot patio banquet table from date of purchase through mid-November (NY). Strings need tightening as advised, and angle arms hold a little water, so I'm concerned for 3 -4 years from now, but overall a win for the purchase. One grommet came off the nylon when removing the top for winter storage, but we plan on glue/epoxy repair before placing the top back on in May. The nylon itself never tore. My husband wanted to bolt it down to the patio block and change to sturdier anchors when we first put it out (too many storms broke about ten different popup canopies), but the sandbags and spikes held it so well, we never used anything else. Looking forward to many more seasons with it.

Cover for my pontoon
I ordered this cover for my pontoon boat instead of a hard metal one. This unit has two [.5 ft and 1 ft] extra legs for extra height if needed. It was great until I found out I needed another extra [1 ft] because of Bimini on the boat. I called customer service but no one was there but Doria from customer service saw the missed call immediately called me and after some suggestions I purchased 8 extra one ft pole extensions. Now, I may purchase cattle panels and add to the poles for greater reliability and strength which makes the unit year round instead of temporary. I did similar to this when I had my greenhouse done. It has stayed up even during the storm and wind about 35 wind gusts- I hope someone will benefit from this.

Great if maintained!
I had a similar tent to this one (but less sturdy) that lasted 4 years in a 4 season climate. As long as you clear the snow and strap it down WELL, it will last a long time. With that being said, after 1-2 years the tarp will condensate and lose much of its waterproofing. Also, the main image for this is misleading as it shows the legs of the frame as being thicker than the rest. All the framing pieces are the same size and they are rather flimsy. But then again, what do you expect for $350??I highly recommend this product, just install it correctly and maintain it!

Lasted almost 8 months to the day
EDIT: Awesome customer service. Replaced all metal parts and components. With this level of customer service, I'd say it's worth buying. Just make sure to anchor it down VERY WELL.Initial Review:Lasted almost 8 months to the day (purchased June 27th, 2023, destroyed February 25th, 2024).Sustained 30mph winds finally did it in. Woke up to find it halfway across the yard in shambles. Bent pipes, with one almost completely sheared off.

Great carport and great customer service!
I am writing this review 15 months after I set up the carport. I use it on a dock in Florida to cover a boat. It is always up every day of the year in heavy rains and very strong sun. However if a strong storm or hurricane is predicted, I take the canopy off, but leave all the poles up (as I have them bolted to the dock). There has been a little rusting just on the flanges at the bottom of the poles which I spray paint from time to time. After 15 months of constant Florida weather the canopy is starting to get weather beaten (a bit dry rotted), so I recently called the number in the pamphlet that came with the item and asked about sending me just a new canopy top. There are other replacements out there on Amazon but this way I knew it would be a perfect fit. I dealt with Renee from customer service who was very helpful. The price for the replacement canopy was great and the shipping was free. I’m very satisfied with this product and their customer service.PS… I gave it 5 stars for sturdiness and stability because I have mine bolted down to a dock. Not sure how it would be using just the tie downs…

Do not use in a windy area
After reading some of the reviews and the description, this sounded like a good canopy to cover my boat. Was I wrong.....Purchased in Sept 2022, the 12x20 'Heavy Duty' carport canopy. Everything came in the boxes. I was very suspect of the durability due to the thin wall frame with push button / snap together poles. It was real easy to put together, but was not stable due to the all the loose pole connections. The tarp is your standard silver, NOT heavy duty, tarp that usually last 1-2 years. Instead of using the sandbags (which honestly would not hold up to much wind), all 8 legs were strapped to a 5gal buckets that had 60# of cement in each.Knowing we had a storm approaching with high winds, and concerned with the thin walled frame, I added additional ratchet straps going to the frame to my boat trailer, being careful to not overtighten them. I've done this in the past with another canopy I purchased and the frame lasted for over 20 years. This thing was not going anywhere. Boy was I wrong! The storm come through with wind gusts in the 40-50 mile range that proceeded to twist and bend the frame and rip the top to pieces. I'm fine with the top being destroyed, as mentioned it's thin cheap material. I planned on having a high quality top made out of canvas.I'm not ok with the label that this is 'Heavy Duty'. IT IS NOT!AND...No Warranty information available on Amazon. State to contact the seller. No Company exists with the name Advance Outdoor. There's an Amazon store with no contact information.

We built this to it's tallest height, covers the camper very well.
I was worried that the peak wouldn't be tall enough to clear the rooftop AC, I no longer consider that a problem. Plenty of clearance. Plus due to it's length, we were able to place it, so that the poles didn't interfere with the ability to still use the door. Granted our camper is only 18 foot long, but it's a cover I don't have to keep putting on and taking off year after year. The only issue we found, was that they forgot to sew in one corner of the elastic used with the metal clips to hold it down to the pole. But since it is on a corner, it will have a sand bag (included) to keep it in place. You do have to provide your own sand....lol.
