KEENWomen's Targhee III Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Out of the box these shoes look well made. Purchased for a trip to Scotland and Ireland, where we plan to hike and walk in wet conditions, so the waterproof feature was important. They are a little heavy - not a summer hiking shoe imo, but sturdy with a great tread. They are also little boxy looking, but not a distraction. I normally wear a 7.5 medium width and and the 7.5 fits well - They are a little wider than expected, but a tight sinch made them fit fine. Very comfortable right out of the box. Happy with purchase. If there are problems after our trip, I will update this review.

I don't even like taking these shoes off. I feel better with them on. I live in Northwest Wisconsin and we didn't have snow this winter, which is crazy (until a blizzard that's coming our way tomorrow for the next 3 days 😵). I ordered these shoes for a hearty winter-to-spring transition walking shoes. Boots don't have the right walking quality or support, sneakers are too light for the season. These Keens are it. I ordered a size 7 because I'm always a size 7. I feel they are at least 1/2 size too big, but that's only when I wear light socks with them. With my wooly socks, they fit pretty well. But I love the comfort and structure of these shoes so much (even in the ankle area) that I want to be able to wear them in the summer with lighter socks, but I think I'd have to order a 6-1/2 for that. The traction on these Keens is phenomenal. I love the reflective material because I walk my pups in the evening. I wish I would have had these when I visited Europe a few years back. We walked Soo much that my toes/feet bled. The front toe box area of these are Soo roomy that your toes don't crowd each other. They are the best footwear I've ever worn. 🙆🏼‍♀️❤️👞

I did go into a store to try these on to get my size, then came to Amazon to get the best price. The quality is very good extremely comfortable, and they look good as well. Perfect for hiking and I won't lie I were them shopping sometimes.

Pro: waterproof, good grip for all terrain, durable, comfortableCons: heavy, run slightly bigMy husband and I have been using keens for hiking and work shoes for years. This pair is comfortable but runs bigger than my other keens. Got these on a sale otherwise I'd have exchanged for a half size smaller.

This is the first hiking shoe that actually fits right out of the box. I normally wear a size 6 dress shoe and bought a 7 1/2 because I wear orthotics. Very comfortable; no break-in time.

I usually wear a women's size 7, but had to exchange these for a 6.5, which fits perfectly. So far I've only tried them out around the house, but they're very comfortable, with a lot of room in the toe box. I also think they're really nice looking, although I may be strange in that regard. ;) I'll be doing some hiking in Ireland in late spring/early summer and hope they serve me well! I'll update this review if that doesn't pan out (or pans out spectacularly).TL;DR: Great shoes, but SIZE DOWN 1/2 a size!

My spouse and I got these and went on a hike. They felt pretty comfortable, but after hike noticed cracks began to appear and then a large one (can see in photos above). I believe they are good shoes and may order a new pair because my spouse's are in perfect condition. May have just got a lemon.

No blisters to break them in. Plenty of room for my toes. Comfortable and have arc support. Waterproof. Delivered quickly. Fit as expected. Would 1000% buy these again. I had keens in the past that were my favourite shoes and lasted 3 years.

It's so perfect to walk with where's there's rock or anything that could be hard on toes. These Keen are my favourite and it's my six pair that I'm buying, as I walk a fast walk at the beach every day :)
