Really makes your hands tacky!
I got this for my son as he wanted to see if it would help him grip the ball better. You spray it on your hands and it's very liquid at first and then it gets very tacky and slightly dry. It really does help him while practicing to grip the ball better he says. He loves this stuff!

Weird sticky residue
I couldn't get past the crazy sticky feeling it left on my hands. Like sticky. As soon as I grabbed the pole it transferred the stickyness to the pole, and my grip was back to normal, as if I hadn't put grip on at all. This is not the effect I was looking for, and would not recommend this product for pole dancing practice.

Not as grippy as I'd like
Maybe this is partly my fault for assuming that every grip spray with rosin is essentially the same, no matter what sport it's marketed for, but this spray is less grippy than my previous spray in a different brand and I had to switch back. (I use it for aerial trapeze and fabrics.) When I looked at the ingredients after trying it, I saw the problem - my previous spray, the first 3 ingredients in order were alcohol, rosin, and water, but for this ENVISHA Football Grip Spray, the first 3 ingredients in order are water, alcohol, and rosin. So obviously it's not going to be as grippy, because rosin is below both of the liquid ingredients. It's more dilute. So it might be that football players don't want quite as much grip as I do, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars due to poor product choice on my part. But for others who might assume all grip sprays are essentially the same for any activity - they are not!

I Can Feel A Difference
Now that I'm older, I try to stay in shape, as best I can. And, like many former athletes my age, I am constantly testing myself, to see if I can still do certain things that I used to. In this case, can I still run routes, or catch everything thrown my way, or can I still zip the ball across the middle, or can I still throw the ball 70 yards? And all my years of playing, I never used, nor thought about using, gloves. However, these days, I need all the help I can get. So, when the opportunity presented itself, for me to get this ENVISHA football grip spray, I did not hesitate. It is advertised as, also, being used for basketball, rugby, racket sports, goal keepers and, surprisingly, pole dancing. But, it makes sense. However, I'm sure no one wants to see me do that. Anyway, it came in a 2 oz spray bottle, and is made from a unique formula (whatever that means). It is very easy to use. Simply spray on your hands, two to three pumps, rub your palms together, then wait for them to dry. I can feel a difference. I'm just haven't decided whether I like using it, or not. I guess, because it feels different than what I have been used to, my entire life, when I throw, or catch, a football. Who knows. Perhaps, I will get used to it and wind up liking it, and wish I had it, during my playing days.

Great.
My son hates wearing gloves for football because the Velcro always breaks off. He loves this alternative to gloves (and so does his coach). Works well. 5 stars

It just doesn't last
It's really sticky, but, only lasts for a couple of minutes, at best
