Outstanding value
Remember everyone: these are NOT chargers. The charger is contained in your car, and this is simply the interconnect between your car and your home wiring. This is called an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).I've had mine about a month now, used to charge a 2019 Kia Niro PHEV. More than double the charging speed of the standard Kia 110v EVSE. For a PHEV with a 3.3 kW charger, there's no reason to buy a higher power, more expensive EVSE. It won't charge your car any faster, as the charger in your car is what determines the rate it can be charged. This has worked perfectly every time. It snaps right into the car without any fit issue, and is easy to remove once charged. Since it's a lower powered unit, the 25' cord is smaller and easier to handle than higher powered units. I positioned the AC outlet so I can either connect it in the garage, or reach the car in the driveway. It appears well built, and I see no issue with using it outdoors if necessary. While charging the cord gets slightly warm, as expected for the current that it carries and the size of the cable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to someone with an EV or PHEV with a charger no larger than 3.3 kW. If you have a 6.6kW (or larger) charger, I recommend getting an EVSE that provides the maximum current your charger can support.Note that this is NOT UL-Rated. It uses a UL approved cord and connector, but the unit itself is not rated. Being UL rated would have been nice, but it's not an absolute requirement. As you move into the higher powered units, I think a UL rating becomes of more value.

Cut charging time for Ionic EV
Arrived as promised, was in a shipping box but came with its own case. I use this instead of the trickle charger for my IONIC EV. My Ionic has a 152 mile range. On a 50% per cent recharge it takes about 4 hrs to full. As against 8 hrs with the Hyundai furnished trikle charger. When charging there is a blinking blue led indicator, which turns to solid blue when fully charged. The J1772 easily clicks and locks into place. The only negative item I do not like is the power plug looks like home depot item not fused in one piece cord/plug. On a positive note if I take this on the road I can replace it with a standard 3 pronged plug.

Quicker charging even using a 120v outlet.
Great charger and great price. I purchased an adapter so I could also use it with a 120v outlet while I get a 240v installed. Charges my 2018 Honda Clarity quicker than the factory charger even using 120v outlet. I may hold off on paying to put a 240v in now. The factory charger took about 14 hours which meant I didn’t get a full charge by the time I had to leave for work again. Not sure how long this charger is taking as I haven’t checked before I have to leave for work, but it’s always fully charged when I get in the car to go to work in the morning, so it’s doing a quicker job than the manufacturer supplied charger using the same power source. Very happy with this purchase.

Fast level 2 charger.. best price
This is all you need to charge at level 2.Your CAR is the CHARGER, this is the cable that makes it workAll those silly boxes and other nonsense is marketing hype... periodThe car controls the charging.. the cable is a cable.. thus WILL charge your car AS FAST as ANY cable can.. and for a lot less money

Looks great
Did not use it yet, but from looking at it, the quality of the cable, control box, and connectors seems very good compared to what I expected. I am seeking out a different plug but I will readily consider this brand after seeing this due to the apparent quality. Price and value are amazing. Remember, an EVSE is a glorified extension cord with a relay and a few cent communication chip for the car to tell the power to turn on and to know the power rating. That's it. A quality EVSE can easily be made at this price. More expensive EVSE's are just for glamour.

This level 2 EV charger really works!
I added a 240 line from the dryer 240 outlet in the garage to an appropriate 240 plug near the garage door. Now, I leave the 120 volt charging line in the car for emergencies and travel, and am able to charge my car fully in 4 hours or less using this level 2 charging line (versus 12 hours or less with the 120 line). I have a 2013 Chevy Volt and the system has been working flawlessly for over a month with absolutely no problems. I highly recommend this upgrade.

Doesn't charge in colder temps
Received the charger in May 2021. Had some issues with it charging for only a few minutes and shutting off, Didn't think much about it, we were new to EV cars. Assumed it was operator error. Started happening more frequently, at least twice a week. Big headache when you wake up and have no juice to get to work and school. Now that temps are cold I fight with it daily. It says that it can charge in cold temps, but don't count on it. I have to bring it in the house to warm up and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. We take good care of it. keep it off the ground, under protective cover, always have the cap on, even made it a cozzie blanket and tent the charger when in port, but to know avail. Wish I could just get my money back or at least get a replacement. I know it is "unavailable" right now, but don't trust it!

Faster than lvl 1 OEM charger
I have a 2016 Nissan Leaf and trickle charge at work. This charger is faster by about 40%. You can really tell a difference in the 16amps vs the OEM at 12amps. Make sure you are using a 20amp circuit. I am also impressed with the product quality.
