Pure Garbage!
I have never had such a bad experience with a radio. This radio is supposed to support the back up camera that came with it. It doesn't. The camera was installed professionally, and it did not work. When I contacted the seller, the response I got was "could you plz reset the car stereo and try again? we meet this situation first time . or could you find someone know car to check it ?" After I deciphered the horrible English, I emailed back saying that the unit was professionally installed. And it was not the first time they "meet this situation" because it was described by numerous people who bought the unit. When I told them the I could not play songs via my iPhone, they suggested a USB flash drive. I tried that, but it only made the unit power cycle over and over. There is no display when an aux cable is used, the phone link and photos don't work, and there is no way to update the software that is from 8/24/2017.This is the worst $70 I have spent in my life! It will cost more to have this hunk of junk removed from my car and the stock radio re-installed, than I paid for the unit itself.Pure Garbage!

Pile of absolute TRASH. I WANT A REFUND
1.5 month +1 day update: I purchased and installed a Pioneer AVH-1330NEX unit. Night and day difference. Folks, don’t be a tightwad and just buy a better unit.1.5 month update: I'm back guys. Now I'm just beyond frustrated with this pile of absolute trash. I'm going to vent for a second, and then I'll mention why I'm here with another update. I'd give it a 1 star rating, and I need to, but I feel as though people don't take 1 star ratings as seriously. Generally I tend to just throw out 1 and 5 start ratings because people either love or hate a product and never really give a great review, hence the 2 stars here. But trust me, this doesn't even deserve a full star. Okay, now, let's get down to why I'm back with yet another update. The unit, as stated below (I believe), is installed and wired in 100% correctly, yet it doesn't fully shut off. I understand units will draw minimal amounts of power to save presets, etc., hence the red wire, but this unit has to be manually turned on and off. Now, even with the unit powered down, it still has a back lit display on the screen...WITH THE UNIT TURNED OFF. My battery in my car started getting weak, and I started running voltage tests on the battery with the unit on, off, and disconnected. There is approximately a 3 amp hour draw with the unit connected and turned off. This is a TON of draw for a unit that should be off...a TON. For those of you that see I have an amp installed and want to think it's that pulling the power, I've tested with the amp removed. The amp draws 0.2 amp/hr. As a result, my car battery was drained beyond the point of any real return. Currently I'm working on trying to revive the battery, but as a result I had to purchase a new battery. Mind you, the one that was in the car was 6 months old. So now this unit has wrecked a battery and cost me even more money than had I just bought a decent unit to begin with.AMAZON IF YOU'RE READING THIS, TAKE THIS PILE OF TRASH OFF YOUR WEBSITE. IT'S RUINING YOUR CREDIBILITY.:-----------:1 week update: I’m looking to buy a better unit. I wired in the BU camera, had it all correct but I have no video feed. The screen switches to camera mode when I put the car in reverse, but I’m not getting feed. The radio reception just isn’t there. I believe the FM strength from what I’ve been researching is half of a normal unit (9 dcb compared to 18). The blue wire I mentioned below on the antenna is an amplified signal switch and with it connected to the amp line, it still has spotty reception. On multiple occasions the radio has locked up and I’ve had to remove the stereo from the dash to disconnect power to turn the stupid thing off. On that note, the accessory wire (red) is not right. The radio stays on constantly and has to be manually turned on and off. Not that big of a deal to me, but can be very annoying for others. With a USB connected flash drive, I have songs organized in folders based on genre, and then subdivided into artists. I can select a song from a folder and I get another random song. That seems to be the most frustrating since I don’t really have a radio.:-------------------:This won't be a long term test review since I just installed, however I want to share my first impressions and experience.Car: 2003 VW Jetta GLTime to install: 3 hours (wired amp from trunk included in install time.)The stereo arrived and the first thing I noticed was the box stated all over it that it was made in China. I got a little nervous, but whatever..it cost me $70. I also ordered the ASC Audio kit that included the double DIN bezel, wiring harness, and 4 keys to remove the factory head unit.Installation took a little bit of modification due to the volume control knob and tight clearances, but I used a dremmel with a sanding head on it to make the left side of the bezel thinner to allow easier operation of the buttons. This HAS to be done regardless due to the volume control knob. Trimming IS REQUIRED. The bezel screw holes did not line up either so I had to mark and drill out new holes, but that very easy. If you don't have a drill, drill bits, and a means to trim the left side, look somewhere else, otherwise note that you will need to modify some things. Again, it's not very hard, but just be aware of this.I did not install the backup camera...it's a small car and honestly I think they are pointless, so I can't comment on the usability of it. I have heard that wiring the camera and signal wire to the reverse lights is what you want to do when installing it.Okay, now for the stereo functions. The Bluetooth was a little frustrating as I'm used to UConnect systems. I kept hitting the devices button on the radio and nothing happened. Finally I just went to my phone's list of devices and saw the radio and was able to quickly connect that way. Streaming audio from a phone to the stereo via Bluetooth was mediocre at best. There is a lot of white noise that is evident, though not intrusive, but it's there and once you hear it, you can't unhear it. Bluetooth calls are doable, but my wife said it wasn't great quality. The FM clarity seemed wonderful sitting in the driveway as I was testing everything, but once I started driving, it went to hell. I don't know what the deal is with it, but it was garbage. The wiring kit had a blue wire attached to the antenna cable and I have no idea what it was for since I have never seen one on a harness in the past, but that may have had something to do with it.Touch response is a little slow, but pretty good overall. No real complaints there. There is no CD slot, however there is a 3.5mm head phone jack that you can use your phone with unless you're a blithering idiot and own a newer iPhone (I'm sorry if you do. You were fooled into paying too much for a mediocre product, but I won't go off down that path.) There is also a USB port, but it didn't charge my phone. Honestly the port seems a little big and something just didn't seem right with it. I haven't connected another USB device to see if it works.Sound can be adjusted minimally (Bass, treble, some presets, and fader/balance) but the quality of the output is pretty good. On factory speakers I was impressed but I also replaced the front speakers with 6.5" Kickers. Didn't really notice much of a different in sound between factory and the new ones.Overall I'm kind of torn on the unit. The lack of FM reception sucks. If you think you can get by without it, don't. Maybe my antenna kit is bad or whatever, but it just isn't enjoyable listening to the radio on this. When the reception does come through, it sounds great, but you can't get a steady reception on it. If I had to do it over again, I don't now if I would or wouldn't buy it. If you're on a budget or just looking for a cheap unit, this is a great route, but if you're looking for a cheap route where everything is quality and works great, then I'd go with something else.

the brightness sucks, I’m not sure if anyone else has this ...
I installed this in my 07 xterra and used the factory mounting brackets. I had to re drill the holes but other then that it was a simple install.Pros- Bluetooth connects as soon as it starts up, you can download your contact list and recent calls. Seems responsiveCons - the volume nob is small, you have to turn it very slow, if you turn it too fast it won’t actually turn the volume up.Second, the brightness sucks, I’m not sure if anyone else has this issue, but during the day time I can barely see it and there is no way to turn it up.I’m giving it 3 stars because although the volume and brightness are a pain, everything else works fine, also it’s only 70 bucks..I plan to get a diff touch screen down the road but for now it’s tolerable

Only thing USB is good for is charging
Video player only takes sd cards as input source. Only thing USB is good for is charging. Waste of money. Video connector to the camera breaks easily. Center contact broke with the slightest pressure from feeding it through the firewall. The connector is nothing major and can be repaired. This product gets a 1 star for functionality. Spend a little bit more money and get a better one.

Great stereo for a great price
Couldn't ask for a better value for the price. Works great, no flaws in almost a year of use. Never got around to hooking up the rear view camera but very satisfied with this product.
