Love the shoes. My son is 10 and we ordered size 4W. Size seems to run a bit small. Although they are a great fit currently he doesn't really have extra room to grow into them at least to last him a few months. Especially how fast kids grow. Will definitely keep these but also will be ordering a size or 2 bigger extra since it there isn't much stock available anywhere

Just what we needed, your standard school shoe. We buy every year.

I got my son the same shoe a year ago and he goes to school daily with it. The shoe still looks new and my son knows how to abuse shoes... excellent pair of shoes

A Little disappointed, We have been purchasing the Hush Puppies Oberlin loafers for the past 2 years for my sons school shoes they wore great and lasted the entire school year. We polished them once in a while and put new inserts in about half way through the year, great! We tried to go with the HP Jace uniform Oxford, similar design and the Oberlins were becoming short on size choices. Purchased in July School started 2nd week of August, he wears them 4 days a week and this week 2months later the soles are falling off, we are shoe gooing 2 month old shoes, it seems I am unable to return VIA Amazon, but if I purchased these from a shoe store you can bet I would be down there expressing my dissatisfaction and looking for at least some type of relief or prorating on the next much needed pair. I like being able to shop online, like Amazon but this is where I miss the mom & pop shops of the past, they knew the families and their names and stood behind what they sold. If I were to stand in front of them and say " Do you think nearly $50.00 for children's shoes that last 2 months is a fair deal?" they would do something about it. Buyer beware

Fits perfect, the shoe is sturdy and doesnt look buldgy. It has a nice grip at the bottom which is a big plus for me, he doesn't slip and slide everywhere. The only tiny issue is that I cant get the strap to reach half way, I can only close it using about an inch if velcro. Although, with that little bit being used the shoe never comes undone. You cant even tell.
