Hatley Boys' Little Printed Raincoat

Hatley is generally a good brand and our little ones have enjoyed Hatley rain boots so we wanted to try their raincoats. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed by the quality and have started a return. The biggest issue is that the inner fabric already has pilling that makes it look like we received a used garment, even though it has all the tags and otherwise looks new. We also ordered a size 7, but the coat said 5 in it even though the tags said "7". Back it goes...

This rain coat was a hit with my grandson! He loves Baby Shark and Sharks in General! It also is so adorable!

My almost four-year-old grandson loves his new raincoat because of the cars on it and my daughter loves it because it is warm and durable. Size five is a great fit for a four year old.

It fit well and he looked adorable in it. It wasn’t too long and once he got a look it was the first thing he wanted to try on. The patterns also fascinated him. So far a great product kept him warm and dry during the rains. As to durability, just got it so take it with a grain of salt. It seems durable at the moment.

Hatley raincoats are the best! The terrycloth interior is so much nicer than the plastic feel of other raincoats. I’ve been buying these for my kids for over 10 years now. My oldest son was so sad when he got too big for the Hatley kids coats. I bought this one (the blue dinosaur) for my youngest who is obsessed with dinosaurs. They really do change color in the rain. These are great quality raincoats that will last until your kid grows out of them, and can be passed on to younger siblings.

My child received a monster raincoat of this brand as a baby, so I bought him another one now that he's bigger. We love the whimsical designs and the materials. The outer layer is truly waterproof but lightweight, pliable and quiet, and the terry liner is soft and warm. It's great for wind or rain, and looks adorable. I will say this one had kind of an odd odor when I received it. It still smells a little weird in the sleeves even though I've washed it and aired it out for a few weeks. But it doesn't bother him and he loves wearing it.

Great raincoat for warmth, for durability and comfort. My grandson loves Dinos but is also very happy when his coats fit well and he loves a hoodie.

Love this coat with the colour changing trucks. Good quality, lovely fit.

I never write reviews but I just need to inform you all that this is THE CUTEST coat I’ve ever seen. My little boy absolutely loves it! It’s thick fleece lining keeps him warm and the rubber waterproof outer-shell keeps him dry and the fact the little dinosaurs change colour when it rains, keeps him very entertained. A lovely, cute and well made coat. Very pleased!

Great quality. The children love that the sharks change colour. Cosy thin fleece lining. Perfect for Spring, Autumn and the Summer rain. Hood stays up. I love sharks so I enjoy looking at it 😉

I love Hatley designs but don’t like their postage costs so often try to find their products elsewhere. This coat is gorgeous and my son gets lots of complements when he wears it. The design is great fun and we bought the matching pjs too! Great quality. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent quality. This is a proper waterproof raincoat. Arrived as described in a timely manner. Will definitely be ordering again when I need the next size.
