My 11 year old asked for the next one as soon as he finished
My 11 year old boy says: It was a good story. I want to read the next one because I wonder why Mr. Big is leaving the pond.

great mini comic!
My family and I just read this out loud, each of us leaning in to see the pictures. I have a girl and three boys ages 7, 6, 5 and 2. We all enjoyed it. The older two will be able to read most of the book on their own. Each of the kids listened with enthusiasm to the entire story. We all learned how important balance to a small pond eco system is. We also learned what an Asian snakehead fish is, and we agree with the crayfish in the story, the snapping turtle may be a bad predator, however "if you get rid of him nature will fill the void perhaps with something worse-something darker." This is a wonderful mini comic or graphic novel with educational content, displayed in a gripping tale, with wonderful illustrations. We all recommend this book!
