Easy install, perfect length for fitness pole
I bought this to add grip to my 8ā tall powder coated fitness pole since the powder coating made my grip worse than normal chrome poles! It was an easy install, especially if you have a spin pole. I made sure to overlap at least 1/3 of the tape width every time and am currently letting it sit for 24 hours to fully fuse together. Once overlapped, it was impossible to readjust, so there were a few points that were a bit bulky since the tap accidentally folded on itself. Will update after I test it out to see if itās worth the $15 extra for the extra sweaty polers.

Great tape.
Wrapped barbell bar with tape and it worked very well. Just the right amount of stickiness.

This is enough finish tape for several handlebars.
I used this in conjunction with silicone handlebar tape to finish the ends. It is very sticky to itself but leaves no residue at all and why I like it. It was very easy to apply but you must exercise a bit of restraint while stretching it as it can tear quickly if over stretched. I am very pleased with the ease of use, no residue, water proof nature of the material, and overall value offered here! Highly recommended!

Indeed it is self fusing
This was my first experience with self using silicone tape. I was looking for a solution to cover some jagged wire and I noticed on Reddit that some people recommended avoiding cutting heat shrink and using silicone tape that was self fusing as a better solution. This indeed was a superior recommendation. It does adhere to itself well. It is much better than heat shrink for wrapping applications. Now I understand why people use it often for handlebars or to add grip to pipe fittings. The other side of the silicone tape isn't really as tacky as I expected. Not slippery nor is it sticky. While I can't compare this to other silicone tape, I can say this does the job very well at a good price point. I'm happy to have this in my tool bag in the trunk of my car, i've already used it twice for random applications on adventures with my kids and their friends.

20 mil - Thinner than most others.
Along with duct tape and painter's tape, this kind of tape should be in every serious DIY arsenal. But understand what it is and isn't (see Note 1).This one is thinner than most...a possible advantage if you prefer finer edges on the wrapped result.PROs: - Nice price when ~ .45 per footOKs: - Thinner than most - 20 mil (see Note 2) - Works fineCONs: - Unbranded product (see Note 3)- - - Alternatives - - -There are lots of color choices, and prices ranging from $ .45 a foot (Harbor Freight) to $.90 per foot at Home Depot. So, this is a pretty good deal when $9 for 20 feet.- - - Notes - - -Note 1: It's strange and easily misunderstood. I've seen 1-star reviews saying it's "not sticky at all...totally dry...won't stick to anything." š Because it doesn't stick to anything except itself, it's only for *wrapping tightly around* a pipe, hose, tool handle, etc. Through some crazy chemistry, the stretched/wrapped tape bonds strongly and permanently to itself after a short period of time, even though it doesn't seem sticky.Note 2: Harbor Freight's tape is 44 mil thick (.044 inches). Another brand I got on amazon is 32 mil. This tape is 20 mil. The thinnest I've seen. (Even thinner after you tightly stretch it around your object.) This thinner tape can be nice if you want smoother edges or are wrapping flexible cord, for example. Bad in high-pressure situations (leaky hose, etc.) or if you want more cushioning.Note 3: Branding and model info indicates ongoing reputation management. It eases followup in case of problems. It helps you know that all reviewers are talking about the exact same product.

Durable, works extremely well, tape feels like on solid piece
Item:Antswish Grip Tape - Self Fusing Silicone Tape, 36FT Rubber Grip Wrap for Pull Up Bars, Handlebar Tape, Barbells, Dumbbells, Gym Equipment, Bike Handles, Tools (36FT, Black)Pros:-Sticks surprisingly really well. I'm actually really shocked. When using them on the bars, the product doesn't roll down from me pulling on it. Its like the tape is all one piece now.-Adds grippy texture to the bar which is awesome! Makes gripping the bar easy now.-In the winter, this will be much warmer on the hands.-Durable. This is WAY more durable than regular athletic tape. Also, because this tape doesn't use adhesive, I think it will last longer than normal tape.-Makes my bars feel premium!Cons:-noneOther Thoughts:-This is important: This isn't normal tape.... there is no 'sticky adhesive'. The product sticks very well to itself and mostly well to other objects because of the materials friction properties. The top and bottom of the tape is exactly the same. Thats why I was shocked to see it work so well. This is tape technology right here.

Excellent self-bonding Silicone Grip Tape
What it is: 36ft long x1ā wide x .5mm thick black silicone tape with removable plastic shielding. Non-adhesiveāonly adheres to itself or other silicone hoses or sheathing. Why I like it: As an avid cyclist and musician, this is a must-have addition for my tool kit. For my bikes, I use it as finishing tape when installing handlebar wrap as well as for wrapping items that need improved grip. As an IT Pro, it is great for sealing wiring harnesses and connections, in that if forms a watertight bond to itself, but doesnāt leave residue or grip the actual wiring or item itself (unless it is also silicone). It also works well to wrap the handles of tools for better grip. As a musician, it is great for reinforcing jacks and plugs, as well as improving the grip on my flugelhornās 3rd valve slide trigger. It seems to hold up very well, as Iāve had some on my smart trainer, gravel and road bike bar wraps for several years and thousands of miles. I would recommend storing it in the ziplock bag it ships in to keep dust and debris off of the tape. Overall, an essential addition to your tool kit!
