Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel and collectively they can best be described as being energy points between our body and our 'subtle body' There are seven main chakras and each has its own distinctive properties. These can effect the energy of the physical body and the connections that flow between each chakra. It is believed that if a chakra becomes blocked this is manifested in our emotional/physical state becoming unbalanced. To re-balance and allow healing to occur it is recommended you place the associated colour on each chakra for approximately 20 minutes. This allows the body and emotions to recharge.
