Dorcy Battery-Operated LED Wireless Motion Sensor Light for Home, White (41-1069)

It works well once you can get it open to install the batteries, and get it hung where you want. One of my two units was impossible to open by hand. The back is supposed to twist off, but it's almost completely smooth, there are no projections to give you any torque for twisting. So you have to push in with your palm and twist. For one unit I had to get two small screwdrivers (or nails, or similar), and put them in through the mounting holes in order to have something to twist against to get the back open.I would have preferred larger mounting holes so I could hang it on a hook - seems instead like it's designed with the assumption that you will screw in to a surface through the mounting holes for permanent attachment. Since the mounting holes are small, they don't fit well over hooks or nails. Also would have been nice for them to have included a piece of double-sticky mounting foam or velcro mount, for greater variety in mounting options.I like it a lot now that it's in place in my basement stairwell - it's bright and comes on immediately as soon as I open the door.

Nice product. It would have been nicer if the description had mentioned It did not include mounting screws or two sided tape, but no biggie. This unit is small enough that I will be able to use it as a traveling night light and prop it up on the desk in the motel room so it will come on when I get out of bed. I hate rummaging around in a dark room when away from home.

I bought this Dorcy Motion Sensing LED Anywhere Light and the Dorcy Motion Sensing LED Night Light. The Dorcy Motion Sensing LED Anywhere Light is MUCH brighter; however, it turns on for 15 seconds, turns off for one, turns back on for 15 second, turns off for one. The Night Light stays on while there is movement which is GREAT, but the light is of Night Light strength. I opened the back of the Anywhere Light and I did not see the switch others were talking about.

I have bought similar ones in the last but all the others stink compared to these. First the build quality is excellent. Second they are very bright and third so far anyway they just keep working and on 3 cheap AAA batteries. At first my family wasn't so sure about these but now they love them in washrooms, hallways, by entry doors so you can see the keyhole, and on and on.We have maybe 8 running at this time :)

Bright light. Motion sensor works in the dark as stated. Had it for a month. Don't know its duriability yet.There are two small holes on the back hard plastic cover. You need to get 2 small nails/screws to attach the back cover to ceiling/wall before you screw the main body on to the back cover.

I really like it, it's not very bright but good for a night light to go to the bathroom w/o turning on a light. I mounted mine on the ceiling.

Perfect for using on my staircase. I've tried others but these work best. Service was brilliant.
