a great product
My daily wear sneakers I use for pickleball has lousy insoles. I mean, near zero arch support. I shouldn't complain since I go through so many sneakers I wind up buying cheap stuff. Worried that such sneakers would cause me foot problems I decided to try Walk Hero insoles instead of spending big $$$ on expensive sneakers. And the result:Big difference!First, these arch supports fit perfectly in the sneaker. The Walk Hero is for 9 - 9.5 size men's shoes but I was worried my 9.5 wide sneaker would be too loose. Nope, it's like a custom fit.Secondly, the arch support feels great. I don't think one appreciates how poor a flat insole feels until you replace it would an insole with proper arch support. My feet certainly appreciate the difference!I should add that I also tried the Walk Hero High Arch Support product. Not uncomfortable exactly but the high arch felt a bit unnatural. I will use it in another sneaker I wear to the gym (where the sneakers will receive less abuse).Bottom line: wow, what a difference. Do yourself and your feet a favor, get this insole.

A solid arch support for lower-arched feet
Fifteen years ago, my podiatrist diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis due to collapsed (pronating) arches. He told me to use arch supports in all my shoes. At that time, there were only a few main brands from which to choose. He prescribed Superfeet blue or copper (for lower arched feet), which I have used since.A lot has changed in fifteen years, and now there are more brands making arch supports. Walk Hero is a bit newer, and I have used their standard model in my boots for a few years. I recently discovered this medium-arch model when searching around to figure out what other types of supports are made for my type of feet. Over the years, some of the supports I’ve tried have been too high-arched for my feet, which causes pain.I really like these medium arch supports from Walk Hero. True to the description, the arches on these are pretty gentle. They provide semi-rigid support thanks to the plastic shell, yet the lump under the arch isn’t very aggressive. There is a gel pad in the heel which adds some bounce to my shoes, and the top layer is soft and moisture-wicking.I put these inserts into my workout shoes (pictured) which I only use for exercise and not all-day casual wear. I like a softer underfoot feel during my jogs. They fit well in my shoes without adding too much bulk (aka squeezing my feet) and made my feet feel secure and supported. I’d say that these inserts are just right for jogging or walking. In summary, if you have lower-arched feet and would like some gentle support as well as cushion added to your athletic shoes, this Walk Hero arch insole is a good value product.

Nice fit
I’ve only used them once so can’t really say too much but they feel really good.

Cowboy
These work well in a pair of Black Jack cowboy boots that I need to use insoles with. I went through several different brands before I found these Walkhero medium arch insoles that fill in the gap and give the correct support for the boot. I got the High arch ones for a wedge sole boot. Both work great. The high arch one are to high in the cowboy boots. The mediums work perfect for a Black Jack R-4 Heel/toe profile or V-4. I have fairly high arches and small circumference feet so cowboy boots in size 8 always need insoles to fit. I wear a 8.5 in brooks running or Hoka.

Walk Hero makes decent insoles but most have one flaw...
I have about 6 different pair of walk hero insoles. Arch placement has been spot on. They have one big design flaw (as many cheap China insoles have), and they also have a ton of redundancy.Their insoles in general tend to have one big flaw, the heel section is extremely wide. It's as bad as shoe mfg's that make narrow toe boxes to the point their shoes are shaped like tubes. And last I checked, feet aren't shaped like tubes. No one's heel is as wide as their forefoot. Yet walk Hero designs their insoles that way. So why is this a problem? Well if you have big shoes it might not be, but if you have shoes with a fairly normal to narrower heel, the insole will not always sit flush. It's fine while your standing but when you walk and lift your foot, the insole will rise, the when you step, the edges of the insole scrape the sides of your shoe as your weight compresses it down again and you get that high pitch fart or squeak every step.I've relegated most of mine to larger boots, hey dude type shoes and some of my larger casual type dress shoes. And not always with success. I've succumbed to heating them at 160 deg for 10 min and then put them in the shoes and over tighten the laces like getting fitted for a snowboard boot. But you shouldn't have to try and overcome a poor design. Hence the pics of more common brand name insoles from SOLE, Dr Scholl's (the drugstore one where you stand on the platform and it senses the pressure on your foot and chooses the right type of insole for you), and then ones from Road Runner Sports.Another issue is a ton of redundancy across the line. The majority of their insoles have a fairly high arch. You really have to search to get to their mid to low arches. I would bet people assume the high arch is the way to go. But when you see a listing and the selections look the same but in different colors, the color scheme is the only difference. Would be much simpler if they made each design with three different arch heights and called it a day. Would be much easier for customers to choose and figure out what works. This would be my last pair of WH's. Happy they have a lower arch as I think their high arch ones are actually too much for me.I've moved on to the cruv heal ones. The stability ones have the right arch height for me, the heels is narrower and fits well in my shoes, and the cushion feels more substantial and rubber like than the foam in the WH's.
