This little figurine with the little gnome kissing his girl’s cheek is so reminiscent of how my late uncle would so often kiss my aunt (who happens to love gnomes). I ordered it on impulse when I saw it. When it arrived I was impressed with the weight, balance, and most especially the quality of the detailed painting. It is so well made it would make a lovely gift; holiday not withstanding. I gave it to my aunt and she immediately commented on it being like my uncle and her. After she admired to quality and inspected the little details in the painting, she picked a spot on her shelf and declared that it would sit “right there”. She has no intention of putting it away, or only having it out seasonally, it will sit on that shelf year round. It makes her smile at memories of my uncle, every time she looks ant it, and that’s worth the world to me.
