Fiskars Gardening Spade for Hard, Stony Floors, Pointed, Boron Steel, Ergonomic, Silver, 125.5 x 14.5 x 5 cm

Admittedly not lightweight but goes with the territory for any spade to be strong enough to tackle heavy work.Currently undertaking removal of lilac tree, laurel and various large well established shrubs all with deep roots in a stony, rubble filled clay soil. As a 63 year old female this work is challenging and I categorically could not have done it without this amazing spade.Its ability to cut through the stony soil is second to none. It's the longest spade I've ever owned and I feared that this might make it snap while I levered out roots. No such thing. The length of the handle was really helpful for the task and due to its ability to dig easily into stony ground I was able to remove large amounts of stony soil to dig deep enough to uncover roots one by one.The rounded shape is frustrating when you're attempting to lean the spade somewhere nearby as you attempt to haul shrubs out. Have to lodge it or turn it upside down. But this is a tiny price to pay for such a fabulous piece of garden kit.See that this spade is currently unavailable but I can't recommend it strongly enough. Don't hesitate.

Used it to dig through clay. The best I have had so far. Very sturdy, very sharp. You will still need a lot of force, of course, to cut through the clay, but at least it works. Had a previous spade from Sc...ix which bend in the middle and eventually broke. This steel blade here is fantastic.

Great balance of weight and strength. Also longer than a lot of spades, which helps with the ergonomics / your back.Wouldnt recommend it for those under about 5 foot 10 inches - think it would be hard to use

The BEST spade I have ever had

Der Spaten kam innerhalb der angekündigten Zeit.Als Ganzmetallspaten ist er schwerer als ein Spaten mit Holzstiel aber dadurch natürlich auch sehr stabil.Graben in durchwurzeltem Boden geht gut damit - obwohl der unten an der Schaufel etwas gekröpft ist, dadurch eignet er sich aber auch besser als ein klassischer Spaten zum Schaufeln von Erde. Die Oberkante des Spatens ist ca. 1cm breit und damit schuhsolenschonend.Der Plastik-Griff ließ sich erst nach einen Bad im heißen Wasser aufstecken - das als Hinweis.Alles in Allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Ottima vanga, non teme nessun terreno.Leggera, pratica, robusta. Vediamo nel tempo, per ora funziona bene.Ottimo prodotto assolutamente consigliato.

Es muy cómoda y fuerte,como esperaba.Sólo una cosa negativa y otra muy positiva,la negativa es que me vino la pala con el mango roto y la positiva ew que después de comunicarlo me vino una nueva en dos dias

Sehr Massive Konstruktionsweise - keinerlei ProblemeMuss momentan sehr viel im Garten graben, der alte Spaten beendete dann leider mit einem lauten knack den Dienst - Stiel gebrochen, da ich nicht wollte das sowas nochmal passiert war ich auf der Suche nach einem Vollmetall SpatenDieser hier von Fiskars ist sehr stabil und biegt sich in keinster Weise, auch wenn ich mich mit meinem ganzen Gewicht dranhängeEr ist sehr spitz und geht gut in die Erde (auch mit paar Steinen dazwischen) die kleinen "Laschen" an der Oberkante des Schaufelblatt ermöglichen einen besseren Stand wenn man mit dem Schuh drauf stehtDer Spaten ist für kleines Geld verfügbar und überzeugt auf ganzer Linie - falls ich noch nen Spaten brauch werde ich mir wieder diesen holen!
