Pool Pressure Side Sweeper: Professional Solution for Cleaning Your Swimming Pool (Four Wheels Better Than Three)

I bought this because my old pool sweep was not working properly. It wasn’t picking up all the leaves or cleaning the bottom of the pool. I had a Polaris and really didn’t want to pay 600.00 for a new one. This one was half the price and with in a couple of hours had all the leaves that I thought it would take a couple of days to pick up all them. The pool was a mess since my old pool sweep wasn’t doing its job. I was very pleased with how quickly it cleaned everything. It has been doing a great job. Was easy to install. Price was very reasonable.

Works great. However the bag attachment to hose is Velcro and came off after a couple cleanings. Only comes with one bag. Cleans well and in a short amount of time.

The cleaner has been in for a week and it's great so far....my only issue was with the debris bag. the one it came with is good, but as anyone with a pool knows, you're lucky to get through 1 season with a debris bag before they tear. So I looked at the Amptyhub store and cannot find any replacement debris bags for this machine. I messaged the seller who says the Polaris 280 debris bag is a match for their machine...this is not true...I have a Polaris 280, and the debris bag does not fit. the Polaris 280 debris bag is much larger at the round opening where it attaches, and the locking tabs are oval. this machine has square locking tabs and the hole to attach is much smaller. I even bought a new Polaris 280 debris bag to make sure I was not crazy, and nope; it's just like the one I already have. the opening on the Polaris 280 debris bag is too big and has oval tabs to attach and not square smaller like this machine.I really want to like this machine as it's a fraction of the cost and works great...but if I cannot get a steady supply of debris bags, then this machine becomes pretty useless (you'll need at least 1 per season; possibly 2...so if this thing hopefully last 10 years, that's 10-20 replacement debris bags)....if you can't get replacement debris bags regularly, then what's the point?I've been messaging the seller so hopefully they can point me to a replacement bag that I can purchase.EDIT - Seller responded back again and said they misspoke; it's not the Polaris 280 debris bag that fits this cleaner. it is the Polaris 380.I bought one from amazon to check and it fits!! So if you need extra debris bags for this cleaner they are the Polaris 380.Thank you to the seller for reaching back out and letting me know! 5 stars!

I am so happy! This is working well so far and a new one from the pool store was $800! The reason this one is so much better it is square in the front and won’t get stuck in the corners by the steps!! Climbs the walls too!! Yes buy this if you need a pressure cleaner!

Product looked good but didn’t function. Right out of the box the back up device was stuck partially open but was not backing up the cleaner. It seemed to split the flow from the booster pump through the back up and through the unit so it didn’t move in either direction even though I waited 20 minutes, well passed the 3 to 4 stated time. I was then concerned about the reliability of the unit and requested a return label. Amazon, as always, made the process very easy. I purchased a new unit from Amazon of a different brand. Sorry, I had high hopes for it.

Started out working great. Noticed one day wheel broke off. It had never been out of pool, during its first 6 hrs of operation. Where do you get parts?

Installation is a nightmare. After spending days on researching and trying to make this work for our pool, we finally gave up. Couple issues we faced;1) It requires return port, our pool was build in the 90s and it does not have a spare return port.2) The only return port we have does not have the right thread to attach to this set up. Checked online and in stores but we could not find the right size/type conversion kit.If you already have a similar set up, you might be okay but otherwise you will definitely need a professional to install this system. The professional we called came back with a long list of things to do and for me, it is too much of a hassle to just get it started.Long story short. stay away from it if you have an old pool without a similar set-up.
