This product is easy to use and comfortable to sleep on. I don’t like sleeping on anything bulky around my head and this does not feel that way. It makes beautiful soft curls. Wow, this works amazingly!! My hair is stubborn and it worked great! I left it in for about 3-1/2 hours dry and it worked wonderfully!! I will use this all the time!!!

Easy to use, gives nice large curls. If you leave the ends hanging down it's more comfortable to sleep in than If you wrap it around your head. Using mousse helps the curls stay longer for fine hair.

I am a young woman with very long, thick hair that is very good at retaining curl, but I've never been fond of a curling iron or unnecessary heat damage - plus, I plan to donate a large length in the next year, which requires extra steps to stay healthy. I was skeptical about the idea of this product at first, but after the first week I am NEVER going back to everyday heat to my hair! The product is easy to use and resilient to 3 months now of everyday (night) use. The scrunchies that came with the kit have not stretched out, which is a personal miracle, and it is never a pain to sleep with the headband in - I even reclip the clips in my hair to push my curl forward a bit, which doesn't bother my sleeping at all (note: I also sleep with a eye mask, so if you can sleep with one of those on, you can definitely sleep with this). If you are someone who really struggles with frizziness to the point where you need a silk pillowcase, you may want one of these bands in a different fabric, but that is the only possible reason I could think this wouldn't work for you. Note also, my hair (~22") is at the max length this headband can tolerate without needing to overlap or going past the thicker section of the band, but this doesn't bother me in the least. It is definitely a winner in my book, to the point where I've gotten three more for family and friends! Now stay tuned for some hair tips ...I will admit, it takes a few days to find your groove for this product, so take the time to find a routine that works for you. The type of curl you get varies based on whether you go over or under the band - I prefer to go over, as this gives my hair extra volume, while going under gives me more of a beach waves curl. Note that as this is a heatless curl based on moisture, it will fade more quickly in a hot, humid environment, so using it solely for the beach curl look may not be successful throughout the day.For my routine, I first brush my hair through with a detangler and blow-dry round brush to give it some softness and workability before starting to weave my hair around the band. I take the most time at the top crown of my hair, as I prefer to avoid brushing it out in the morning to keep the bounce as long as possible throughout the day, and I've found weaving the first few strands and then spraying with water after helps with this. The longer you let your hair set at night, the better, but just a bit of water does the trick - for days I want the curl to stay longer, I use a light hairspray just before I take it out in the morning. If you do struggle with frizziness, you can run a flyaway solution through your hair with your fingers in the morning without even needing to brush your hair out. However, if you do want to brush your hair out, it still looks great! Just keep in mind your hairs normal poofiness and if you'll need to do any treatment to keep it under control. I've done a few tests to see how long the curls last, so here is a guide to the pictures I've included in this review - please note I took these pics without any hair treatment so there isn't any outside influence on the results, and I live in a mid-humid, currently cold environment.1. As someone with super fine , thin hair , that has never held a curl , these are life changing. Ive used them both with very wet hair and with dry hair misted then curled. It worked very well both ways , and my curls lasted all day. My family has literally never seen me with curls because even though i curl my hair before special events , it never lasts long enough to even get out the door. And its So easy to use , simply wind your hair around the soft satin covered rods , secure with the hair ties and sleep on them or go about your business, and when you are ready , take them down to gorgeous curls that last all day. I got my teen aged granddaughter one also and she loves it , so easy to set up before bed and wake with great curls for school . Great gift , and life changing !!!

This was way more comfortable to sleep in than some of the other overnight heatless curl rods I’ve tried. The way it ties stays really nice and tight on your head, and it’s really soft and squishy. I actually think the softness works against the curls though, since I had a hard time wrapping my hair as well with this since there wasn’t much structure to it. It’s pretty thin too, so it makes a smaller curl than I’d prefer. Even following instructions my hair was curled in the morning, but really frizzy and not even in the curl patterns at all. I’ll keep playing around with it since it is so comfortable, but first go around I really didn’t love how it made my hair look.

This is a nice set for the price; it comes with a lot of extras, which makes it easier to use. Brush out your hair, spray it with water to get it damp, section it, and roll it by sections onto the curling rod headband... let dry thoroughly (overnight) and unroll. You may need to shake your head upside down to shake out the curls a bit. This would be a nice gift, and especially fun as a take home party favor for a sleepover party.

I have thick, coarse hair that is just below my shoulders. I don't like to use a lot of heat products on it. However, with it being winter and the air is very dry my hair and it's waves need some help. I wrapped my hair when it was almost dry and kept it on for about 4 hours. It was very comfortable to wear, didn't give me a headache like I was expecting. I untied the ends and removed the scrunchies and elastics. I pulled from the top of my head up and the curls fell easily from the wrap. I used my fingers to separate and fluff and I was very happy with the results. The next day I still had nice waves and again finger combed my hair. The smaller the sections of hair you use will create tighter curls. I used about 2 inch sections of hair and had very bouncy curls and the next day they looked like beach waves. I didn't use any product prior to putting this in my hair. I would recommend those who have difficulty keeping curls to add some mousse or gel to your hair while it's drying or after you dampen your already dry hair before wrapping your hair and maybe a light mist of hair spray while the curls set. Overall I would recommend this particular wrapper.
