I thoroughly enjoyed this story as well as the others in this series. I love all the prologues and how the series ties together

I really enjoyed this book! I only have one complaint. The whole story is only finished because there is an epilogue. I think the end of the book should 100% be in the book and not in the epilogue. It made me a little frustrated but it was still really good. I’m glad I got to hear about cross and learn about him and his past. It was a good and heartfelt read. I did get emotional but it was really good!

Ahhh, Cross is amazing. I loved this book!!! I love the connection that Cross and Alexa have! This series is so good, I can't get enough of it!! I love knowing all the backgrounds of everyone and getting a better picture of everyone. If toy love Shantel Tessier, you've got to read this series too!

Another good one! I love how active all the side characters are in this series! Not like others where I read their books and then have to Miss them!

This one was a little slower than some of the kings books but once I started getting to the juicy parts, it flew by! I don’t think there was much “smut” here but more of a spicy read. The book kind of skimmed through dirty scenes, which I find on because most of Tessier’s books are DIRTY (which I love). But I did like learning crosses story and background.

This series just keeps getting better, I loved seeing the family and friend ships grow, and the rough times from previous books coming over and seeing them all the way thru.This one was hard to read, especially with all the trama going on, but cross and Alexa get thru it!! I love how alexa is so strong and cross, his party boy ways are over!!!

The relationship between the 2 MCs seems to mostly consist of just sex, and then suddenly theyre in love, which is just totally rushed and they don't even know each other beyond sex. I like the background of the kings, the flashbacks and the plot itself isn't terrible, just would have been much better fleshed out further in maybe a duet. I also expected Cross's obsession with fire to play a much bigger role, but it really doesn't. I think the writer could have really had some fun playing around with his background and obsession with fire.Alexa's character I started off liking, but then it was like her entire world was Cross and her friends' tragedy. Suddenly she didn't feel like a real person anymore, her character had no depth anymore.Despite all that, it was still a good book. Probably not one I'll read again, but if you like dark romances and need a break from the heavier stuff, this is a good easy read. I think what really saves it is how well the action is paced. You're never too bored or too amped up, it's a nice flow through. The funny moments were really good too, but ironically in the end, I started to favor Jasmine's character more than Alexa's, and Alexa is the FMC!Overall, it's a decent book, and possibly a good introduction into darker romances for those wanting to dip their toes in and test the waters.

I did not expect Cross’s story to be what it was exactly. I figured he had some family & religious trauma from things we learned in previous books but I didn’t expect it to go as deep as it did.Alexa is on a mission to have a good time & forget her problems for a bit. So when she and Jasmine run into Grave & Cross two of the Dark Kings while out at The Airport she winds up going home with him.Like the other Kings Cross is not interested in any kind of relationship that involves feelings. Alexa seems to understand this & is honestly looking for the same thing at the moment which suits them both just fine.Until Cross decides that he needs to make her his. Being a Dark King’s Queen is no easy feat & Alexa isn’t sure it’s something she can handle but life throws her into some impossible situations where she soon finds herself falling back into Cross’s arms & feelings like she doesn’t want to let go..UGH I LOVED the relationship between these two! Alexa is so strong & independent. Mix that with Cross & his need to dominate & possess and you get something amazing.Seeing how Cross started to open up to Alexa after so many years of keeping everything bottled up was so good to see & how Alexa just stepped up & took everything he gave her & then some proved that she is definitely worthy of being this Dark King’s Queen.

OMG!!!! I can't get enough of this series. I absolutely adore all the characters and love watching them grow in their relationships. These books keep me enthralled and never seem to have a dry spot.Onto the next one I guess!

Was initially thinking to skip the book as I wanted to read Bones but to read in order, I didn’t skip & would tell anyone thinking to not to as it is an important part leading up to Bones book esp with the spoilers. I went from wanting to skip to reading past 1am as is the magic in Shantel’s books which compels you to never skip! Cross is a man with a troubled past with his parents like Grave and finds himself in the phase of partying, drinking & drugs. Like Grave with April, he moves past when he meets Alexa (April’s best friend) and in spite of Grave’s warning to stay away, they both find themselves drawn to each other. Their story is amazing & I love how Alexa is not afraid to challenge him if he keeps secrets from he and he is willing to protect the woman he leaves. I am so glad they have their HEA as they are made for each other!

Loved this series and all the characters you have to read and see who you fall in love with mine i think is Titan with Bones a close second.

Honest to god the way this woman writes is like crack but for book addicts. Another brilliant book by Shantel. Delicious amount of spice and brilliant plot. Loved it.

Again a great book! And then there was one! The family is growing at a fast rate! I was happy to still get to read about April and Grave cause they are favourite but was so sad about some of the things that happened. But still, I liked Cross and Alexa too and I am glad that things turned out alright.The next one is Bones and I’m starting it right now! With everything leading to his own story I think it’s gonna be 🔥This story is part of a series where all the major characters get there own book and HEA. BUT, I have been looking for Silent Nite, the last book (6th) that should have come out long ago, and I am very disappointed to say that I don’t think it was written… i can’t believe that it’s been promoted for so long and it didn’t come out after the last book of the series in 2022. After 5 books in this series, I was getting attached to does characters and feel abandoned in the end…I’m a sucker for reading series and when it’s left with no ending 😱😡I have to lower my reviews a little of the whole series.
