My 6 year old granddaughter picked it this particular style of umbrella because she said it covers her more going in and out of school. It covers her to her waist, and covers her backpack too. Funny but since I got it for her, it’s only rained twice and it was overnight so she been “practicing” in the house.The one negative I’ll say is that as a child’s umbrella, it looks like it’s made very cheaply. I think the wires that open in up will bend or break very easy.But overall it’s cute and will last long enough.

The media could not be loaded. This is a super cute umbrella. My daughter loved it. It has been 3 days since she got it and it is already completely broken. She tried to close it upside down and her 5 year old force first caused the thin metal to bend out then eventually fully break. She's so sad about it and won't actually get to use it for rainy days.

So far it's withstood a toddler using it as a walking stick, dragging it everywhere. Can be a bit difficult for a toddler to open, but I love the design and the transparency for safety in walking
