Fun to fly
Easy assembly and a blast to play indoors !

Fun cheap drone
This is a fun little project to fly around when you’re done. It’s not the most shock resistant, but at less than $20 that’s not expected.

easy to fly
got this for my kids and they figured it out pretty quickly. it’s easy to fly and do tricks with .

A pain in the butt for nothing
This is a build yourself drone. The parts do not fit together well, and heaven forbid you have big hands. After about 30 minutes of fighting with it. It was together just to find out it will not connect to the controller at all. So basically worthless. I am kind of bummed, could have been fun in the house.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!
Obtaining this drone for my 6 year old nephew and it left me disappointed. It looks like on the picture that I can attest to..!In totality, it is cheaply made and indeed for beginners.I value quality items whilst this was of super low craftsmanship!Everything did work as expectedAssembly is required with vague instructionsWe didn’t use the remote and be aware it is only a drone without a camera.

Not great...
Was tempted to give this 2 stars but I'll give it credit for the extra parts included - you might need them...I knew it was self-assembly - the listing makes that clear. It isn't difficult to put together but there are several potential traps along the way. First, the instructions are terrible. They are microscopically small - even with a magnifying glass they are hard to read. They also aren't well written. Fortunately it isn't a complex build.During assembly, look out for the fact that the tiny motor wires have to pass either side of an assembly screw, but it's hard to tell that they are in place as you snap the case together. If they aren't then the screw will cut the wires. Ask me how I know. Fortunately, they included an extra motor, probably anticipating this. The propeller blades must be in a particular order and orientation, otherwise the drone will not be able to take off. The instructions mention this but the pictures are much too small to help you get this right. I figured it out by putting the blades on, making them spin, noting the rotation direction and orientation of the blades, and adjusting accordingly. If you aren't sure how to ensure lift based on the rotational direction and angle of attack of a propeller blade then you will be using a lot of trial & error here. But once it's all done, how is the drone itself? Not great. It flies OK, but has massive drift. It takes off then lurches off in a random direction. You can keep it somewhat steady, by adjusting trim and constantly countering drift with the controller, but by the time you get the hang of it the battery is dead. You get 6-7 minutes of flight time. It's too light for outdoor use, and too inaccurate for indoor use.I mildly fun project for an hour or so, with moments of frustration sprinkled throughout, and little motivation to recharge it after the maiden flight.

Fun and sturdy!
The media could not be loaded. This is a really fun drone. I didn't know anything about drones. Putting it together was a little difficult, only because it came with extra parts, which is really great but confusing because the direction didn't specify that it came with extra. Also the directions are small and I had to magnify them. It came with 2 control boards, 2 extra batteries, and 2 extra propellers. I first put the batteries in upside down and couldn't figure out how to put the propellers on because of this. Their is a small hole and when putting it together I thought the small pin went into the hole but the wires go down. The numbers and letters to identify the parts on the propellers and braces are hard to see. When it says the letters a and b are on bottoms of the propellers makes sure you put those facing down. I had to look at the pictures online. It would have been nice to have a video for instructions to.Flying this has a learning curve as the direction explain how to do it but doesn't really tell you how to turn it on. So I figured out you turn the drone on first press and hold and a blue light will blink, then you bring the controller right next to the drone and press and hold the button. It will beep. Then move the left control up and beeps then down and beeps. After that you push the left control up as that starts it. Then let go and the controls works as instructed.make sure you know where the front of the drone is otherwise controls get confusing. left control up and down is ascend and descend. And left control right and left rotates it in orientation.Right control is for flying to go forward right left and back.If you turn the left control to rotate the orientation then the right control changes where forward back left and right are.Takes practice but it is quite fun. It is so cute. And yes this is something that you can use indoors. I have crashed it A LOT and no parts have ever come apart. It has a fly time is pretty good and when it is going to die it literally slows down and descends to the floor. You will know this because the control will stop working. The first few times I flew it it went right up to the ceiling so I do recommend starting in the house to get used to the controls. It would feel like it was stuck to the ceiling but just push right level down and it will work. Also when putting the body on the top I threaded the antenna through the tiny hole. (See picture). At first only move the left control up or down only it will help learning the controls.

Excellent inexpensive kit (have not flown yet)
As a fun project this kit contains everything you need to assemble the drone. The one disappointment for me is that the body shell of the quadcopter is made of *very* thin light plastic. I suspect it will break easily if I am not extremely careful handling it (including landing it once I try flying it).The assembly instructions are straightforward and assembling the drone seems to be appropriate difficulty for the age ranges labeled on the box.All in all I think this makes a great project especially to do with kids who are interested in building and electronics. The small size and fragile construction will probably not impress a drone enthusiast, but I don't think it would be fair to expect much more for the very affordable price of this product.
