These eyeshadows are presented in a beautiful and sleek box. The box has a magnetic lid that does a good job staying closed and protecting the eyeshadows.First the positives. These eyeshadows come in a variety of shades that go well with each other and can be personalised for a variety of looks. The colours are intense and rich. They are intensely pigmented so you do not need a lot of product to make the colours pop. You receive a lot of product for £7.99.Second the negatives. These eyeshadows blend, but it does take more work. There is also quite a bit of fallout. Using a restrained hand and gently building the colour helps.These are packaged in such a way to make a cute gift for someone or yourself.

Beautiful collection of blues and a gorgeous shimmery gold (Star) that reminds me of MAC's long discontinued Bagatelle (13 years at least I've been looking for a dupe!)The mattes apply best with a brush, giving a smooth, even colour that's easy to build on and blend. The glitters look stunning applied with a finger, sponge or a brush that's been spritzed with setting spray.The photo of swatches has been edited to try and somewhat represent how they look in real life with my also ancient phone. Ordered for my 8 year old daughter as she is very girly and loves dressing up. She's very happy with the colour selection and the fact they are glittery / shimmery is all the better! She managed to apply it fairly well and it washes off easily enough afterwards. Good stuff!

A nice selection of shades and colours in the Golden Hour set.They apply okay - you just need to be careful with the darker colours as they do have strong pigment which can grab hold and not blend as easily.Dropped one star as the colour discs are not highly compressed which means that using a brush creates a lot of loose powder which can result in waste.

We got this set of eyeshadows for our granddaughter, who at 13 is just experimenting with her colour choices and blending. The colours are really pretty, and there are a few glittery ones in there too, so she can get all glammed up. The colours are quite powdery, and they leave quite a bit of loose stuff once they have been swept with her brushes. They blend well but do take a bit of time, she is only experimenting so it's all good practice for her, and she is happy with the results. At £7.99 at the time of writing this review, this is a good starter set for teens to practice with, and she seems to have been fine with these, except the excess glitter dust has marked one of her mum's towels 🫣.

The colors are indeed neutral. However, I am in my 60s and the colors are more for a younger person. I gave it to my hairstylist and she absolutely loved it!
