I researched many different walking canes with seats and this was by far the most practical, compact, sturdy and easy to use. Upon receiving the product, I was happy to discover that the walking cane with seat was everything I had hoped for. I am 70 and still love to hike and travel but occasionally need to take a break and sit briefly. Many times when traveling, there is not always a seat available. I love this cane with a seat! Shipping was fast and communication from seller was excellent. They emailed me videos on how to use it which was very helpful.

I'm 83, bad back and knees. When I'm walking, I need a rest from time to time. This easy to carry cane, walking stick is also a a safe chair. It's not as comfortable as my couch, but I can't take my couch into the Long Trail. Basically, it make life easier for me. and my wallet.

I ordered this primarily out of curiosity. My hunch was that it would not be of use to me in the real world as a wilderness backpacker, but I ordered it any way because who knows? I could be wrong!I wasn’t wrong. I can’t see myself actually taking this anywhere into the real woods or real wilderness. The primary reason being that the bottom end by necessity will have to endure dirt, mud, water, leaves, rocks, goo, grime, and then all those moving parts down at the end of this cane that make this thing work will have to remain unaffected by all of that - and they won’t remain unaffected by all that. It’s impossible.Still, I love the idea of this walking staff, and I also love seeing people come up with ideas like this and try to make them work. This ‘walking seat’ might serve somebody very, very well around town or while traveling in the civilized world, but as a wilderness tool, not so much.

Not constructed very sturdy. Neither my elderly mother of 190 lb nor myself of 230 lb felt safe sitting on it.

I have four kids ages 4-13 and so I purchased this for when we go out on long outdoor outings with the kids. As another reviewer stated, it’s not too comfortable to sit on the seat for long periods of time. But it’s not really made for that purpose, it’s more for taking breaks while out and about. It will work perfectly for my kids to take a mini break during these outings. Unfortunately it’s way too hot right now to spend time outdoors so I won’t be using this for another month or two.The second reason I purchased this walking stick is for my dad use for when he goes on hikes in the hills around his neighborhood. He’s 66 years old and very fit, but he still could use the support. When on his hikes he usually finds an actual stick from around the bushes to use as a cane. My kids and my dad have played around with the walking stick to get a feel for how it works and its quality. The kids have taken turns opening the seat and sitting on it. My dad has also used the seat and it’s very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight without strain. It’s definitely much better than the sticks he finds lying around the bushes and the seat is a huge plus for him.

I have used many cane's and walking poles, but I like this one is the best. I can't stand very long (maybe 10 minutes) and this walking stick with collapsible seat is a life-changer! I love it!

The quality is great. The surface area and height for sitting is perfect for me.

This is a great idea but made as cheap as possible resulted in failure as soon as I tried it for the 1st time. If the engineer would have specified a different material or more of what they used it might just work.

I had purchased this walking stick/seat a few days ago, and thought it was too tall. Johnny at customer services contacted me and send me a video to show how to adjust the stick. It is a wonder product and i would recommend it to anyone who needs one. Thank you Johnny for all your help!

This is a wonderful walking stick for anyone.Works great for younger people and also elderly people!

I liked the product how it easily converts to a seat and has a carry bag which is handy. However, although you can make the cane longer, you can't make it shorter than 87cm. For me the ideal height is 82 cm. If they had made it a bit shorter it would be better because you can always make it longer but you can't make it shorter.
